If you are talking about my child, I can afford my child. I am not relying on the government or anyone else to pay for him. My husband and I have both worked long and hard to afford our home and health insurance to pay for the cost of keeping our son alive.

And if our son one day qualifies for disability, it is money that my husband and I have both had taken out of our pay checks for him.

Instead of the latest trend to adopt a kid from Africa, people could start adopting ones that are locally grown. Imagine that.
