Was driving back from Durham...had to listen to the game on radio. Was painful as shit. I just don't see how our D is iffy. Why could we not attack Ferrote? How did we let him take the ball down the fieeld for 11 minutes and let the Vik offense take control.

I know the fuck up before halftime hurt but damn...the Viks do not have an offense that I believe should have been able to dismantle the Panthers D.

I mean, they scored 13 points on offense. We lost this game on Delhomme's fumble at the end of the 1st half and just generally poopy play in the second.

Hope they throw this game film out the window. Ok, so Minn ran the ball well? Looks like Ferrote did well passing too with just about 200 yards passing. Are we not suppose to have a good D? I am seriously wondering if J. Peps is really 100%. I have not seen a dominating effort out of him in 3 games.

This seems to have been a pathetic effort by the team and poorly coached game.


I am going to go back and re-watch the game to see why our O was so pathetic and how our D let the 3rd quarter go without a punt. I guess I just don't really see how we played so bad overall.

smith came back for the loss,
he did well but the penalties are and 1 big mistake was what killed us
i think it comes down to greed, we were up 7 near the half, we shouldve played it a bit more safe
got greedy and lost momentum

This game seemed to have L written all over it before it even started. Desperate team, hostile environment, a game on paper we SHOULD win.

More so, we absolutely killed ourselves with penalties and turnovers and still had a chance.

I'm not happy with the loss, but I'm not terribly upset either. Maybe if State had lost I'd be a little more pissed.
