The intro was hilarious, but the episode as a whole was weak.

I actually really liked this episode, both the comedy and seriousness

oh and,

PLAYTIME IS OVER!!!!!!!!!!

maybe it's because michael wasn't acting like a total fucktard this episode, I know it's funny and awkward as hell usually but sometimes it gets so unrealistically over the top that it just gets dumb, because nobody above middle school would do some of the shit he does

also: michael finally making a move was pretty heartwarming. glad they're getting back to showing michael has pretty good qualities too.

I liked it when they showed him with the babies too. Shows that he really wants to belong, but is also so oblivious.

i thought it was a great episode.

i liked: jan's surprise, michael's line about being shortchanged (that really touched me), the burgeoning relationship between michael and holly, and jim and pam's sideplot (really accurate for long-distance couples) and its clever resolution.

Andy is the best character ever.

I like the British Office, but I favor the US version simply because you get to know ALL of the characters better.

Not only do we get Jim-Dwight interactions, but Dwight-Andy stuff too.

not as good as last weeks, but i liked it overall. Dwight continuously asking Phyllis for advice and then fucking her over somehow was hilarious. The Michael/Holly saga was just.....crazy, haha. Jim worrying about Pam cheating on him is kinda sad

I wonder if David Wallace is going to create some trouble over the Michael/Holly relationship.

Did the HR rep forget to fill out the dating forms?

Honestly, wtf does David Wallace care? He likes Michael on a basic level and views him as a local guy that fits (and nothing more than that). The only reason corporate would be upset with Holly and Michael would be because Holly works for David and not Micheal... still, CW says let the two dorks be.

It's a tough economy out there after all, amirite?

I was expecting Michael to have the Springsteen tickets at the end, keeping them for him and Holly.

When is Jan going to hear about them dating?

I think the issue would be that not declaring the relationship is the same as hiding the relationship and creates a conflict of interest and somebody might lose their job.

but David Wallace didn't seem upset but more like "damn I wanted to hit that"

There needs to be a cat fight between Jan and Holly in the mud or something.

Best part for me was Michael's Springsteen playlist.

I consider Springsteen to be the greatest thing ever to happen to music...I'm a bit of a fan...so I loved this episode.

Nobody steals from Creed Bratton and gets away with it.

The last person to do this disappeared.
His name? Creed Bratton

i cant stand the holly character. all the scenes with her and michael are just too annoying for me to watch. its like in waynes world 2, when they introduced the girl who looked just like garth. you dont have to make her act as stupid as michael for me to believe they are a potential match.

The best part of that last episode was Creed...

Which sort of implies a below-average episode. Granted, Creed's short bits were hilarious, but still, this episode wasn't especially great.

^Same. I only got back into it because it's got the newest episode on Hulu.com within a day of it airing. Hell, I still haven't watched most of season 4.

people try and tell me that they had a few episodes written and filmed before the writers' strike, but every episode after the break from the strike was simply terrible.

Dinner Party was great.

But I also laugh at comments like "This season is so bad I might stop watching."

Seriously? The latest episodes may not be as perfect as the first seasons', but the Office is still the best show on TV imho.
