Is it just me or do the Panthers play the most boring games? This crap has put me to sleep and my interest left in the first half. 11/16/2008 4:02:26 PM |

The Panthers have played this kind of football all the time under Fox. Its ball control defense first. This is why nobody talks about the Panters because it makes for boring TV of course it doesn't help when Fox assigns Captain Caveman and Admiral Boring for the broadcast team. 11/16/2008 4:09:12 PM |

The panthers never blow out inferior opponents (except the KC game). They always run it up the middle to run the clock out once they get up by more than one possession....
No doubt Jake's accuracy is wavering right now, but we remain a well-rounded & solid team. 11/16/2008 5:31:31 PM |

I find it amazing that the Panthers are just 1 game behind the Giants record-wise 11/16/2008 9:26:16 PM |

he's saying that because the giants have looked like the defending champs most of the year and are clearly the second best team in the NFL. meanwhile, the panthers have struggled against some weak teams(minnesota, oakland, detroit) and still have the #2 seed in the NFC and could reasonably grab #1(The Giants have a very tough schedule before they play the Panthers; @ARI, @WAS, PHI, @DAL) 11/17/2008 2:10:27 PM |

The Giants will rip this team a new one the way they are playing.
Barely beating Oakland and Detroit is not good. 11/17/2008 2:13:07 PM |

had similar games in 05 vs similar competition, and this is what happened to the giants then, the nfc east champions:
