It's not really an identity crisis. I am a Mets fan first and foremost. Have been my entire life. I went to my first game before I turned 1 year old and pretty much had season tickets through my Dad's company for close to ten years (since he was the only real Mets fan in the office).

I like the Red Sox as well because my Mom grew up in Boston and was a fan. I freely admit to bandwagon with them when the Mets are beyond horrible (see 2003 and 2004) and I still follow them but not as crazy as I do with the Mets...
