sorry

so yeah, i was told around 8 that the rosebuds were playing a free acoustic show at the jackpot tonight

so thinking that it would be a normal show with a stage/amps and all that goodness, we showed up around 9 to find hardly anyone there

and then around 9:30, they showed up with an acoustic guitar and accordion and 2 cameras and played 4(maybe 5) songs at the bar with everyone singing along

they closed with "bow to the middle" and we all danced in a circle around them to it

all of this was part of a special Merge XX dvd

it was one of the coolest things i've ever been apart of

a friend of a friend read something on twitter about it around 7

and then around 7:45 it was on newraleigh.com

so we showed up around 9, had a few beers, and then they came in playing as they walked through the door

it was so fucking awesome
