Damn, you folks have some money to drop on expensive watches. Day to day I won't wear anything expensive because sooner or later it'll probably get scratched on the inside of a computer case, or something similar. I've had a succession of $50 or so watches the past couple years, timex and/or columbia, usually retire 'em whenever the strap breaks.

I do have a nicer watch for when I'm dressed up, but it's just a Pulsar. I can't see myself wearing a $1000+ timepiece, I think I'd always be worrying about it getting scratched/dinged/gone.
