There are 2 guards coming in with that class. In case you haven't noticed, we have decent bigs right now and no good guards and we struggle. Give me halfway competent bigs and I like our chances. Also note from my post that you're refering to that I pointed out that we're not done recruiting for 09. And who said Costner is a lock to leave?

jesus christ, the team doesn't look that bad this year. we aren't going to compete for an acc championship but it'll be fun to see what they can do in conference play. if we somehow made the ncaa tourney, i would be more than satisfied given what we're working with.

at least we arent letting uber shitty teams hang with us like we did with presbyterian and western carolina. I mean we've played 6 games, thats all we have to go on right now. If we were 0-8 in ACC play I could see the constant bitching, but we've played 6 games and we are exactly where I thought we'd be after them.

you know what really grinds my gears?

the fact that the refs called jump ball after costner got hacked and was BLEEDING PROFUSELY.

if it had hansbrough, the refs would have made the other team forfeit, and the NCAA would have banned the program from tournament play for three seasons.
