i love how everyone was saying after 1-2 weeks there wouldn't be much left...

I knew it would be like this....

it has been almost a month and they still have TONS of stuff. and the sales are still only 20-30% on most good stuff...

No wonder they went out of business, best buy still has better deals....

They went out of business for reasons other than their price point...

If nothing else, CC and BB were always comparable.

You do know that the liquidators raised the prices on everything. Circuit City pre-Liquidation was pretty comparable to Worst Buy. The internet is still the place to find things the cheapest.

I went yesterday and noticed that new Release Movies (Movies released in the last month) non-Bluray were marked at 29.99 with the 30% discount they are at current going rates. No deal really. A liquidators job is to make money for the creditors so they use smoke and mirrors to get people in the door. Some of the big ticket items are a rip off thus they are still at the store.

And Circuit City went out of business because the upper management of the company made a bunch of mistakes, mainly firing all their highest paid employees to save a buck.

there were a few stereo systems in there selling cheaper than anywhere online even before shipping and handling, but the no return policy still makes them iffy. I'll give them a couple weeks and see if they're getting any better.

At this rate, they will still have stuff in the store in April, and it will only be 50-60% off...

The ploy worked to get people in the store, but I see a lot of people leave empty handed....still too high.

i've heard of some insane deals on photo gear...but when i went to the augusta, GA store they had sold out of practically all SLRs and lenses.
