It's not that you can't start a game after 6pm on Sunday, it's that you can't start an inning right?

I remember this b/c UM got screwed last year at our place.

At any rate, it has been waived, so it's not an issue today.

It is basically both because if you couldn't start another inning, you couldn't start a game.

Doubleheader pushed back to 3:00.

We lost game 1 of the double header 3-1, all 3 runs given up in the 7th. Given the way our offense has been playing, 3 runs given up usually isn't enough to beat us. Oh well, let's hope for a better show in game 2.

since i have graduated i don't get to see as much baseball coverage as i used to. i thought we were going to be decent in baseball this year. i guess i was wrong?

Our team is very young and we are playing a lot of freshmen and new guys.

Starting pitching has been pretty solid. Gilheeney/Buchanan are as good as any ACC 1-2 starters.

Tomorrow's game will no longer be in Durham. The bulls don't want college teams playing on their field due to the wet conditions. I don't blame them though. The game will either be played here at the doak or not played at all. They'll make a decision in the morning.

I guess we underachieve in every other sport... why should baseball be expected to be any better?

After 6 yrs of being an NCSU fan, this is getting a little easier to accept.

Pack scores 2 in the 7th, 2 in the 8th, and 4 in the 9th and Jake throws a complete game to lead to a 10-3 victory over Wake. Series finale starts at 1.

PACK wins 13-7 to win the series against Wake. John Lambert gets the win and Joey Cutler gets that save. They play UNCG and Liberty during the week before a home ACC series vs Virginia Tech.

Lost 17-5. First inning didn't help, Devon and Drew Poulk collided in the outfield, Wade appeared to pull his hamstring running to 1st, maybe we were looking ahead to VT. Let's just hope the weekend has better things in store for us.

game lasted almost 4 hours

Won game 2 7-6. Gave up 5 runs in the 1st and then 1 in the 2nd. Bullpen did AWESOME. The PACK got 1 back in the 2nd, 3 in the 6th, and then 3 in the 8th with Fergie hitting a two-run homer to put the PACK ahead. Alex Sogard did a clinic coming out of the pen. We needed these two bad, not just for the ACC, but for heading to Wednesday's showdown with ECU. Thanks to an AIAA conference in Huntsville, AL that I have to attend, I will miss the game. We need a strong student showing and please do not leave until the end of the game, no more of this leaving around the 7th inning BS.

so do you think you'd have a problem getting into the game if you show up a bit late (6:30-7ish)?

during the few games that i've gone to this season, it seems like they're lucky to get 1000 people total (including non-students) to attend the games. it seems hard to believe that there would be more than 1000 students for tonight's game given the lousy weather.
