You seem to have some pent up frustration, and have a few particular incidences which bother you greatly. Not all divorces are the result of infidelity, in fact most aren't. I'm not sure from where this old wife/new mistress conflict derives in the general scheme of things, but since its not the common cause, it should hold little weight in the discussion.

If we are to discuss anecdotal evidence, as you just did, I'll PM those to you because they're too long.

As for the rich people, I'm not suggesting they will end up in a car. The car comment was relevant based on the circumstance of the comment made before. however, someone being rich and not having to live in a car does not give carte blanch to the ex-husband's financials. Its this sense of entitlement which is actually the driving factor and causes so much negativity.

sorry, yeah.
every divorce I know of growing up was because of infidelity. with the exception of one.

so I guess I am basing mine on the large amounts of infidelity that I see.
also the case at hand there was clear infidelity.

ya i believe I would just set things up like hugh hefner and buy women to stay with me, but never actually marry them ( if I had that kind of money)
