Chris "Beanie" Wells. You gotta think that Detroit will not draft another first round wr, but I still don't see them getting anything but an offensive skill player here. With the selection of Stadford at the first pick they will need somebody to take the attention and pressure off their rookie quaterback. I believe Wells would do this better than the offensive lineman left on the board.

BY FAR the best defensive player remaining in the college pool, the Falcons would have to be fuckfaces to pass up on Cushing. They select the USC phenom even though the Falcons are a bunch of fucking faggots. The colts select WR Hakim Nicks with this pick. Obviously they need a replacement for Marvin Harrison both short term and long term. He may not be the fastest wideout left but his size and hands will make him a dangerous target lining up opposite of Reggie Wayne. I was tempted to go RB here becaue of Addai's durablilty issues, i probably would have gone with Leshon McCoy but that was too much of a luxury pick to justify the selection.

With the 28th overall and 2nd of this first round, the Philly Iggles select TE Brandon Pettigrew, SR from Oklahoma State. Still need a backup RB, but none left really justify this pick with other needs, and a S but still, none are quite good enough and we think we can get one in the 2nd round. TE is a need with the release of LJ Smith, and Pettigrew is probably the best one in the draft. Pettigrew isn't very fast, but has good hands and is a very good blocker, so now with OT earlier, and now this, that OL should be solid for McNabb and Westbrook.

With the 29th pick in the 2009 NFL Draft, the NEW YORK GIANTS select Darrius Heyward-Bey, WR Maryland. Jerry Reese is shocked to see DHB slip this far and grabs him up quick. Burress is gone, and with no contracts signed or trades accepted the GMEN are looking to replace a major threat in their WR corps. Most believe they will take Kenny Britt for his size and for the fact that he is a local kid, but he's developed the primadonna label, and taking plays off is something that doesnt exactly fit on the giants roster or practice field. DHB's physical abilities (4.3 40yd/40" vert) far outweigh Britt's size and physicality IMO, and his constant improvement over his career speaks volumes about his work ethic.

With the 31st pick, the Arizona Cardinals select RB Lesean MCcoy (Pitt). The Cardinals are in a tough spot with their offense with the re-signing of Anquan Boldin, along with Edgerrin James not being expected back next year. Hightower looked more like a typical goaline/power running back towards the end of the season and the offense lacked the threat of a long run. They probly are hoping for Beanie Wells to slip to the bottom of the first round, and taking an OLB could be a possibility if a worthy running back isnt available.

With the 32st pick, the Pittsburgh Steelers select Max Unger - Offensive Guard from Oregon. The Steelers have to address their offensive line. Even with a Super Bowl win, the offensive line was at times terrible. Unger played tackle for two years, guard for one, and center for one so he can realistically play any line position and help out a bad line. He is 6'5" and 310 and is very strong and smart for an offensive lineman.

OK, I will be stepping in to make the pick for the Lions. I also will take Apocalypse's pick, since he's not doing it.

With the 1st pick of the 2nd round of the 2009 TWW mock draft, the Detroit Lions select Michael Johnson, DE out of Georgia Tech. The Lions need help badly on the DLine. Michael Johnson has all the talent to be a top 10 pick, but the lack of motivation causes him to drop this far.
