Corey Hawkins, son of NBA All-Star, Hersey, is looking VERY good this year. already has three games with 40+ points and is averaging 34.4ppg/10.6rpg/3.5apg/4.1spg for the 14-1 Wolves. doesn't play summer AAU ball, so that's why he's still a 3-star. but he's the consensus best player in the state of Arizona.

Keala King, after transferring from Dominguez in Compton, to Mater Dei (HS of Taylor King, the Wear brothers, etc) is averaging 15/10/4 for the 12-1 Monarchs

lol...is it just me or is it shocking that USC is decent this year? I thought after the mass exodus of players and Tim Floyd resigning they would be in for a long rebuilding process but Kevin O'Neil has them playing pretty well considering. I wasn't at all impressed with what he did at UofA in one season but he's doing a hell of a job this season at USC.

there's no doubting that he's been the most successful coach in the conference over the past 3.5 years

in the years since that putrid 8-22 season with all of Rob Evans' players, where 12 of the losses were by 2 possessions or less, he's 58-28 (.674)
