I never had a myspace really so I don't know what you're talking about....however...I believe that the only difference now is that where before you'd be like, 'find me on FB...my name is Mike Smith and I'm the 425th one that comes up' now you can say, 'you can search for Mike Smith like you did before OR you can go to facebook.com/user125 which is a lot easier than saying go to facebook.com/123987139487234987234 or whatever the hell it was.

^ Yeah, but I'm using this opportunity to hate on people using the internet and trying to be far too clever. I hope you can change your username sooner or later, because a lot of people are going to get pissed about this, get pranked, or otherwise decide that they HAVE to be able to change their names.
