I don't understand getting tacos at restaraunts. Unless they are like authentic tacos (the kind where they give you all the shit and you have to do it yourself). Its so fucking easy to cook beef/chicken/beans/rice/chop up veggies for that shit

^ Yeah that taco truck is pretty good. There's also a taco truck that parks in front of the junk yard on 70, just past Brier Creek that's good. Or if you want to skip the taco truck and get the same stuff for the same price, just go to Rancho Grande in Cary.

Only reason i don't include burritos in that is that i always get guac in my burritos and i do not have the cooking prowess to create guac

how exactly would it cost $20 to make bean tacos?





also if you claim to not eat a lot the burritos are pretty big I can eat a lot but i rarely finish one, but thats usually because i drink like a load of horchata before

maybe not $20 but more than $1.50 (probs like $10)

plus the time to cook it and chop everything. make the guac. etc. not too hard, but at this moment in my life going and getting $1.50 taco is a lot less time consuming

Guac's easy. Avocados, garlic, lime, cilantro, peppers, salt, BOOM! You've got guac. But by the time you've done that you've spent more than you would have at Chubby's for a single meal

but i'd need everything else. i think i have lots of kinds of beans too. kidney black and cannellini (and even garbanzo!)

what i NEED to do is use my slap chop and food processor to make some delicious homemade salsa.

I make guac probably about once a week because I "put that shit on everything". Sammiches, burgers, or just for a snack.
Mine is avocado, fresh pico, cilantro, salt, pepper, and lime juice

I made fajitas the other night
Skirt steak marinated in olive oil, orange juice (+ zest), lime juice (+zest), cumin, salt, pepper, garlic, cilantro, and like 3 chipotle peppers. buzz in blender, pour over skirt steak, let sit like 2 hours. Cook at high heat for a few minutes on each side. slice peppers and onions and let them sit in some salt, pepper, lime juice, and olive oil while steak is cooking then pour them into grill pan with all that steaky goodness and cook while steak is resting.
Profit.

my favorite is that avocado salsa thing but i got guac so didn't need it
