The Ultimate NC State shit comes down to us trying to build a new arena, but not having the money to do so, then someone coming up with the bright idea of inviting a professional hockey team to partner up, and said hockey team demanding control of the building and we have to pony up $100,000 for EVERY GAME we play in our own building...one that has very little NC State stuff in it, and one in which you get treated like a criminal for daring to enter.

That time we played a pretty damn good first half against duke and were about to take it to the half with a ton of momentum. Then with about five seconds left duke brought it up the court only to have their seemingly last attempt of the half blocked and punched out beyond the three point arc. Then Nolan Smith, in one motion, jumps for the loose ball, catches, shoots and hits a three at the buzzer.

I worked security at the RBC center for a [very short] time... in our pre-event meetings, they would always rail on NCSU fans and basically tell us to watch out for them. In fact, NCSU games were the "least favorite" events for everyone in the building, and looked at us with hatred.

That white guy with the half bald head and goatee that used to sit next to the State bench always hated the NC State fans. At a pre-season game I was sitting in the front row on the dance team baseline and he walked up to me and and some other people and wanted to see our tickets even though no one was sitting in the section and we had tickets for different sections. We talked him into letting everyone stay and then got on the topic of how I hate UNC. He told me how they took the "Lang Family Tree" sign away from the students. When I asked him who he cheers for he said, "I cheer for all of them." and walked away. He was always rude to the fans.
