i was grossed out by the thought of him reaching into stomach acid with his hands as well to yank out a SIM card amidst all the guy had probably eaten in the past day

but just thinking about what was going through jack's mind when he heard that voicemail message pop up was priceless...i was saying OH SHIT GAME OVER to myself lol

I absolutely loved the part where Jack busted up in that department store and all the Russian operatives were trying to be all slick. He knew what they were doing the whole time. Then the "sniper" got busted by jack's sidekick.

However, the most priceless look was on Jason Pillar's face when he realized that once again, they did not capture Jack.

Tough episode. The last three should be hair-raising after all this. It's like JB is a damn machine at the moment. Nothing is getting in his way.

i thought he had just swallowed it when they brought him to that warehouse or whatever it was, before Jack started torturing him. there was a scene where the guy was laying out all of his stuff from his pockets and he took the phone out and from what i saw and remember, he threw the phone or knocked it over or something where it came apart in pieces. the sidekick guy told him to pick it all up and put it on the table. i think then he swallowed the SIM card. or maybe i missed something?

Loved it. Tied up most loose ends, brought the plot to a conclusion for the most part and we get the eventual movie. I just wish we would've gotten an indication the guy behind Season 7 may return. Everything with him and Tony at the end of last year seems like we won't know what ever happened.

sad to see the show go but happy the way it went out
i'm not sad because it was the best show on tv or anything - just sad to see these actors who have become almost an integral part of our lives and discussions will no longer be with us in the same way. just sad that things will change. hopefully the change leads to something better though...

as far as actors go, it seems to me they were *trying* to do something with Arlo's character but they just couldnt build on him. and personally, i thought the whole Renee thing was blown out of proportion. I mean, why did she suddenly mean so much to Jack?

i liked it when the president became a threatening jackass to Dalia. i was like "man where has that been all season, i'm so sick of her self-righteousness".

all in all, decent finale. i thought they could've done more with the story and i personally would've wanted to see Jack go through with the sniper shot

But seriously, great finale. This season seemed to drift a bit from time to time, but it wrapped up as well as could be expected.

all-in-all i'm content with how the series ended. the last few episodes redeemed the rest of this season, esp early on, in my opinion. i liked seeing Taylor turn megabitch to Dalia but was a bit disappointed she went with her conscience in the end. i'm hoping for the movie they know what they are doing to squeeze literally 24 hours into a 2 hour (maybe 2.5 hour) film; it's not gonna be easy i dont think but we shall see.

but i'm not so sure they are going with the whole 24 hours thing in the movie. I think it's more likely they will just use the 24 brand name. It's going to be quite hard to find jack in another country and bring him back to save the world in one day. And if the movie is like that it'll be no different than 24: Redemption tv movie and subsequent season that followed.
