it was freeeeeezing today and the rain sucked but the hotdogs made it worth while. they did the fly over today and you couldn't see the jets at all because the cloud cover was so thick. should i even try to go back tomorrow? i'd be willing to bet my entire beat farm on JJ winning tomorrow

Gordon actually pulled away on the restart but Kenseth bumped him up high in the turn. Gordon said "I don't know if he just hit me or if the eleven got into him, but I made sure he wasn't going to win the race after that."

that ending was so lame. marcus ambrose and paul menard won the race for hamlin by wrecking kyle busch when gordon was no where from taking the white flag. why should two bafoons who hadn't sniffed the top 10 all day have such a big effect on the end of the race

You could also say Denny would have won the race to start with if Burton had of pitted instead of trying to make it to the end with a flat tire. I am a Gordon fan but had money on Denny so I was happy either way.

I am looking into the possibility of going to a race between the bar exam and start of my tax law program in August. Problem is that the races during that time are Pocono, Watkins Glen, and Michigan. None of these jump out as obvious "have to go to ASAP" events to me, or anyone else probably. If the break started a week earlier or a week later I'd definitely go to Indy or Bristol, but those are not possibilities this year.

Do any of y'all have experience at those tracks or information on which is better from a spectators standpoint? I must admit that I am kind of intrigued by Watkins Glen though the viewing abilities are obviously significantly limited there. Pocono also intrigues me in a way and the double file restarts made the last race there pretty interesting. I'd say those two are tied right now. For Michigan, it seems like I am almost guaranteed a fuel mileage race with 2 lazy spin outs, so that is the least likely trip right now. I may just end up going bass fishing every day for 3 weeks instead or find something else relaxing to do.

Also, is anyone going to Darlington? I'm Fing pumped up for that one. Haven't been back since Sept. of 1992.

^^been to pocono once. we had infield at the exit of turn two. While we were right next to the fenceline, the racing was indeed boring. many people i've talked to hate going to the larger tracks if you cant see the whole thing (ie: infield) because you see the cars for about 5 seconds, then you wont see them again for 2 minutes.

will be at darlington as well. great track, really podunk town. (part of the appeal.)
