ha ha I checked both my and my wife's phones when that phone started vibrating. Started laughing when I realized it was on TV.

Glad to see that Duke has a loss and the undefeated shit will not be on continuously on ESPN now. I was worried that in about a month, if Duke was still undefeated, we'd start getting Favre-Vick like dick sucking over a perfect Blue Devil season.

Sucks that we (NC State) has to go into Tally now and face a pumped up FSU team. Hopefully they blew their wad and we'll catch them on a low energy night. FSU is pretty much the opposite of NC State when it comes to defense.

yes the Plumlees have to become true low post players. Duke had no interior presence last night.... ice cold from 3 point land... no rebounds either end of the glass.. seemed a little all too familiar from some of the teams past

I don't think the Plumlees will ever be good back to the basket players. What killed Duke was the lack of slashing. Normally all their good looks come from penetration and Nolan Smith could only get into the lane and do something with the ball a couple of times.

^^^Whoever posted that is an idiot. The FT incident wasn't a flop... he wears a wrap above that knee and it bent back a little. You could see them tightening it and straightening it out on the sideline. It clearly wasn't a foul and I don't think anyone took it as a flop other than a few Duke haters that don't pay attention.

^Having played sports and/or worked in sports (with Coach Yow) for most of my life... I've seen all kinds of fluke injuries. He was grazed with a little bit of contact and overreacted which bent back his knee.

I've also witnessed torn ACLs on similar fluke injuries. It really wasn't that big of a deal. I don't understand why every time we lose people insist on blaming tiny, individual plays when they had little to no impact on the outcome of the game.

Everyone is free to their opinion though. I see similar plays in every form of basketball... from recreation to the NBA.

OMG GUYZ! DUKE FLOPZ AND MAKES US LOSE. CAN U BELIEVE IT?

If you believe that:

a. any potential flop changed the outcome of that game,
b. there was any more potential flopping in that game than any other college basketball game,

you need to watch more basketball. There was nothing that stood out in the entire game that would make folks "hate Duke" or feel like they were "cheated."

We hung in there for a good while, made a few runs, but couldn't hit enough shots and get enough stops to win. Flopping or anything resembling a flop had no impact on the game... AT ALL.
