Thoroughly enjoyed the episode. Creed's quote about pirate code was funny. When Dwight said he would rather see Kevin's smiling face than save few hundred dollars...and the cameras pans to Kevin smiling. I was laughing pretty hard at that one.

From page 3, about The Christening:
Quote :
"I just didn't understand anything when it came to Toby at the church, was that supposed to go somewhere?"

I just rewatched Season 5, ep 26. Toby talks about how he was in seminary, but left to follow a girl named Kathy to Scranton. He took the HR position at DM despite having no passion for it, and Kathy eventually divorced him. I guess he still holds a grudge against God maybe?

Sorry, random.

Bump for tonight:

60 minute office eps tend to suck...they take a half hour idea and try to stretch it to double the length. You need a really good plot or two separate ones to make an hour show really work.

I liked it. Not as good as S2 or S3 Christmas, but much better than S5/S6.

Is it me or did they hit the reset button on Pam? She is like not even the same character as last season -- actions or looks (not a bad thing either).

Liked the episode. Erin is weird...but she always makes me laugh. They're really playing the "Kevin has the brain capacity of a child" card a lot more this season (maybe not, but it seems like it)...like Kevin freaking out about the maple candies. It's still funny, but seems more prevalent in this season than past seasons. I like Darryl a lot, but I couldn't really get into the storyline with him and his daughter.

Still, very good episode IMO.

Last two episodes have been very solid. Gives me some hope for the show after Carell leaves, as he's been the worst part of the show lately.

I really liked how Dwight exacted some revenge onto Jim after years of torment. What made me LOL was when Holly said that Jim and Dwight were the best of friends when she left. Both Dwight and Jim looked at the camera like . And the ending was great, of course. All those snowmen. LOLOLOLOL!

Good episodes two weeks in a row, and one was an hour long. Never would have seen that coming.

Dwight and the wigs was the best thing they've done in years.

Haha I liked when Holly said she ate some of the Maple sweets and it zoomed in on Kevin's smile fading. btw, the whole time I was expecting Jim to get Dwight back hardcore but I guess Dwight needs to win sometimes.

I liked how Dwight's attacks drew laughs and cheers, and Jim's failed attempt made him look like an asshole. I expected Jim to punch or tackle Dwight. He's shown a history of not being able to handle adversity.

I keep thinking Angela's new boyfriend is about to put on some horn-rimmed glasses and pull out a gun.

I wonder if Oscar's assertion that he's gay will go anywhere.

Also, I liked Dwight's catapult in the gift box, it seemed like exactly the kind of thing Jim would do, but apparently Jim can't take a taste of his own medicine.

Why is Holly back? I thought the Scranton Strangler case was only going to keep Toby away for a week...

I, too, could not get HRG out of my head. Heroes screwed up his career, now he's never going to be able to be seen as anything else.

Erin repeatedly pointing out that Holly isn't exactly a knockout was hilarious to me...

"Sorry, I can't help you, I'm waiting for Michael's pretty girlfriend to show up"

"I don't get it, is she a really good cook or something?"

Holly's new haircut was not doing her any favors. Not attractive on her at all.

I also enjoyed Erin's: "I'm sorry... I JUST DON'T SEE IT!"

on the other hand, his career wasn't very spectacular before Heroes.

lol at this little coincidence though:

Man NBC sure is taking their time unveiling their new back to back to back to back to back to back comedy hour

Interested to see if 6 comedies in a row work together...seems like overkill

yeah the show with Olivia Munn and the chick from It's Always Sunny

I just looked at the listings though - I thought Parks & Rec was at 8:30. It's showing it as Community, Perfect Couples, Office, P&R, 30 Rock, Outsourced

^^you are probably right; I was basing my order on a graphic from a blog

I wish they'd line it up so that perfect couples and outsourced are in the first hour but that'd be a horrible mistake on NBC's part

The sneak peek of Perfect Couples they aired back in December was kinda funny, definitely better than Outsourced. Also I thought this was an amusing tweet:
Quote :
"Perfect Couples advertising strategy seems to be, "In the past, you have enjoyed shows about attractive white people. Here is another one.""
