This has been a great game thus far, even with the weather. Those helmets with the visor are def. not made for days like this one.

I'm glad the NHL is stepping up to try to fill the NYD sports void created by ESPN owning the rights to everything and destroying the bowls along with the BCS. I miss when there would be at least 2 games with national championship implications, or even 3 games to flip between at once but now we have a bunch of pointless bragging rights games one after the other to give ESPN the ratings, including the worst "BCS" game ever.

Meh, last year of his contract and he and Lemaire don't get along at all. Not really a huge surprise. Ideally they should give Arnott the C until Zach comes back. If they give it to Kovalchoke I am going to have a serious examination of my loyalty to this team.

With NBC taking over, the name will be changed over the summer to something to do with NBC Sports.

Beninati was fired by VERSUS. We won't have to hear him call games any more. (Although I didn't mind him sometimes but he was way overused)

Bob Harwood (one of the reporters) has been fired) and apparently up to 29 others, on and off air, have been fired.

Pierre will be between the benches on tomorrow night's Versus game.


Looks like they're trying to make Versus into no joke. Not even holding back on firing Comcast people.
