I'll be there with 9 friends. We've been once before, maybe 4 years ago. I think it's my favorite place I've been to. We got tickets like 2 months ago though, so they were $54 or whatever, but hopefully they'll be good. 11/1/2010 9:48:11 PM |

^^agreed. On a side note I am starting to get a bad feeling. With more success we tend to play worse and with failure they do play better. The more I thought about it this is a recipe for a huge letdown in death valley. I hope I am wrong.

They always have. I lived there five years ago and they were calling it that. In fact, I still call it that on a regular basis. I have also heard such douchetastic things as:

^^Agreed. People like to say that "all boards are like that" and "every team has that crowd" but IC takes it to a whole new level.

fuck we are 3 point underdogs and FSU is 10 point favorites?!
Looks like our season could possibly end this weekend.
If Clemson is 3 pt favorites and you have to assume the general public would back us coming off a big win against FSU and having the better record... that means Vegas prob thinks we are more like ~4 point dogs in reality.
What is going on I thought Clemson sucked this year? I guess we haven't been very impressive on the road this year but fuck now I'm really worried... 11/2/2010 2:08:06 AM |

You know Vegas odds don't actually affect how the team plays right
We haven't beaten them in years and Death Valley is a hard place to play, but there's no reason to be more worried today than you would have been yesterday 11/2/2010 2:12:04 AM |

^ Re-read my post, thats exactly why I said they must really consider Clemson ~4 point favorites if they are setting the line at -3.
^^ Of course it matters, are you new to sports? I thought we were supposed to win this weekend, now we look like relatively significant underdogs and FSU is heavy favorites. That doesn't bode well. 11/2/2010 2:42:04 AM |

Big Cartel is all about how responsible the person is behind the store. I've used Big Cartel as one of the mediums for selling my band's merchandise over the years. If you're using the free version (which I'm sure that one is), it's basically just a front for nice integration with paypal, auto-creation of packing slips, and a "real looking store" that you get to setup (though that one is pretty bad haha).
When you order something, it just generates and email to be sent to the individual running to store (in my case, myself) who manually ships it out like you would off of ebay or something.

And you know vegas automatically gives the home team 3 points from the start right? So basically vegas thinks its a toss up and I agree its a 50/50 game in my eyes just like FSU was. The team who doesnt beat themselves will win. 11/2/2010 9:30:34 AM |

I'm torn.
This Clemson team took Auburn, the #1 team in the country, to overtime. In their stadium.
The same team lost to UNC and Boston College. And their offense hasn't scored a TD in 2 straight games. WITH Ellington.
It looks like it all depends on who shows up to play on Saturday. I don't know whether to feel comfortable or concerned. 11/2/2010 9:45:09 AM |

^to your point, if parker could have made a good pass to a wide open tight end in the end zone, they SHOULD have beaten Auburn

Auburn is a COMPLETELY different team than they were at the start of the season. They are one of those teams who is playing great down the stretch but really should have lost several games at the start of the season. They lucked out and made it through those first few games where they were still getting used to the system and once Newton felt comfortable he started coming on strong and he is the difference in that team. That being said part of being good is you start to become a lot of teams super bowls for the season and therefore better show up ready to play every week. 11/2/2010 10:04:41 AM |
