1) definitely have a very capable offense
2) definitely rusty; which will go away fairly quickly I think
3) defense is shaky
4) seems like the guys haven't completely gelled together yet; though there were signs of them coming together

thoughts:

- pfeiffer doesnt completely suck. theyre short and not especially talented yea, but I think they'd comfortably beat some of the shit teams we played in past years like winston salem state and georgia southern

- offensively we look really good. we have a bunch of guys that can actually make open shots. multiple players who can penetrate. a fast break offense that not only exists, but will be pretty solid once the team is used to playing together

- half court defense is shit. in good news, we have length and quickness this year. the blocks and steals that were missing in the early years of the lowe era should be up this season

- rebounding is scary when howell is not playing

- the team is deep. cj williams is like the 9th guy on our depth chart and I find myself feeling bad for him because he's not going to get many minutes this year. it feels good to actually have that problem

We have a lot of good players but CJ did some very good things the minutes he was in the game. I hope he at least gets some solid sub time.

ease-up there buddy. it was the first game, an exhi. he did have at least a couple blocks (against nobody taller than 6'6") and had an alley from harrow. he did look a tad spastic though and picked up some silly fouls.
