I was fortunate enough to watch this game last time around at kenan. Was dating a UNC student at the time unfortunately. Still got all the jabs I wanted in. The average fan at kenan is just as funny as the average poster on IC. I especially love the old man next to me that kept saying, "got put some pressure on that qb. Get him out of the pocket and make him scramble." I completely agreed with him. The highlight was starting a "tar heels" chant with the 10 members left in the tar pit and some clown yelling "that guy is still pulling for the heels, why can't yall" then he turned around to see my state shirt

There are tickets on stubhub for pretty decent prices (decent meaning ~80 bucks for goodish seats, so if you're pretty much broke then nevermind). Also, Woody's or Sammies are both sure bets on watching the game.

edit post OFFICIAL NCSU tailgate at UNC. we're going to have 2 kegs off Frankiln St. ($5 cups cause we're poor). me and mr roomate are state alum and he's in grad school here as I now commute to Duke (it's just a paycheck). UNC punks (minus the ones in grad school with my roomate) will be charged $10 haha (or at least that's what our sign will say; evaluated on a case-by-case basis per associated nc state company). we're prob some of the rowdiest people on this campus and this sat. we are going to set the bar even higher. dont tailgate in some lame ass hospital parking deck. fuck unc and bring your shit to our prime location. I am recruiting. the more wolfpackers the merrier. pumped tunes, cornhole, ladder golf, bocce, and craziness. we rep hard everyday here so don't hold back. I am dead serious. I want to outnumber these tarholes as much as possible. the address is 119 S. Roberson St. and we'll be at it at 7am of course. associated unc company is tolerated but food is more welcome. nah we're good guys but keep in mind our residence here as only made us more proud of our alma mater. FYI: there's some hidden parking behind our place. our backyard is ridic and we can accomodate ~150 people. bring more grub and come get drunk with us. GO PACK!!!

may have to do that. I'm going to be out there with 3 other State people but we managed to get lifetime alumni passes or whatever they call them there, right by the stadium so we may just tailgate right beside Kenan to piss them off more

hell yeah. just happened to check the NCSU-UNC thread for more blasphemy and I see someone just reposted our mass tailgate. imagine these tarhole's faces when they see an army of red marching from our tailgate to the game. just so there is no confusion we will be hanging from a tree a stuffed ram drenched and dripping in what will appear to be that liquid infamously known for being thicker than water. the idea is to have a trail of runoff off our residential sidewalk and in to the public sidewalk for public dismay (or familiar appreciation by state kids). like I said our we regress in pride, esp for a good cause. in '08 my roomate tied one by the neck to his overalls and kicked gloriously all over the place en route to kenan, not to mention stopping in the middle of their band march just to dance around it to the UNC fight song and stomp it repeatedly with every bass drumming. i suppose i capped it off nicely by having to get rid of it for his slightly drunker ass (because of course he wasn't allowed to bring it in to the game) by upon entry heaving it up in this tall as tree right in front of the main kenan entrance perfectly as if it was a message to all UNC sinners. ha and after which I got a tap on the shoulder to this voice asking "Do you know what the orange county fine is for littering?" Before I could explain to this pig that I could throw something at it (the nearest pecker-sized unc whiner) and get it down just so I get into the game ASAP he says: "I'm just fucking with ya. Go State." Coolest non-affiliated mofo I've encountered to this day on this godforsaken campus. Perhaps that was an omen. Let's do it again. $5 cups/bring food. GO PACK

Alright, so with 2 games left and A LOT to be decided still, here's our bowl possibilities (the way I see it):

1st scenario: Win out, and Win ACC Title = Orange Bowl vs. BCS
2nd scenario: Win out, and Lose in ACC title = Chick-Fil-A bowl vs. South Carolina/Miss St
*Maryland beats FSU and we beat Maryland, either of ^ could still happen, regardless of a loss to UNC.
3rd scenario: Lose 1 game, win 1 game = Sun Bowl vs. Pac 10 or Champs Sports Bowl vs. Pitt/'Cuse/USF
4th scenario: Lose 2 game = Music City Bowl vs. Kentucky/Florida OR Car Care Bowl vs. Pitt/'Cuse/USF
*If we lost out and Clemson won 1 game (vs. Wake Forest) to become bowl eligible, I think the Car Care bowl could take Clemson.

While I think this game might have had a lottery, in the past, all you needed was a UNC student ID. (no ticket required for football, basketball required a ticket IIRC) It has prolly been 4 years or so since I sat in the UNC student section so things might have changed.
