The Maryland vs FSU game couldn't have gone ANY better for us...

Maryland plays a tough, physical, emotional game that they lose in the final minutes. The team is dejected and certainly the atmosphere up there next Saturday is going to be much different than it could have been.

We are a focused, disciplined, and DETERMINED team, and we are NOT going to succumb to "NC State shit".

We will march on to Charlotte.

this is a different team that we have. if we were going to go by the wayside of "NC State shit", FSU would have fumbled and recovered. UNC would have converted the 2pt conversion and recovered the onside kick. GT would have stopped us after taking the INT back for the TD, and UCF would have scored in the final minute.

Those things could have happened, and they haven't. There is a reason for that. We have truly bought into the concept of TEAM, and we're on the same page as a unit with our coaches.

Let's go out and lock up the Atlantic. It's our year for it.

Seriously, it's time to take care of business this weekend. This team has been working since the summer to get to this point and now that they're here there is no excuse for not coming out and playing their absolute best football of the year. Let's be honest, we would all love for State to make this run at the championship a regular occurrence but this is most likely a chance that will only come once in a while for State football. Win this freaking game!

This game is going to come down to Maryland's beat up O-line countering our blitz packages. They had to move one of their guards to center during the FSU game, and they burned a redshirt to bring in a freshman to fill that guard position. I guess their freshamn QB isn't inexperienced at this point. He is a pretty small dude, though. Hopefully we can put the fear of god in him. We certainly did last game to Yates.

Yeah, man I can't wait for Nate to smash this kid. Yates is still a big guy, this QB is still 6'3" 215 (espn) but he looked skinny as hell against FSU.

this kid is from Kernersville, NC and chose Maryland last year over us, Wake, Duke, Clemson and ECU. I don't know that we ever offered him, but we checked him out.

He's still a freshman and he's a talented QB, but I think we can get to him and rattle him. I've noticed lately that Archer/Tenuta can get really light on the pressure during games. Hopefully they will turn it up this game and frustrate O'Brien.
