We're not comparing features, we're comparing the ability for the phone to function properly.

But being that the iPhone 3GS was introduced a year before the iPhone 4 it's no longer the current model. All AT&T and Apple are doing is selling the remaining stock so that AT&T can lock people into plans with an appealing phone.

The "base model" iphone is the same phone as the more expensive model. Apple just refuses to give users expandable memory, something basically every other phone does, and instead charges them $100 for an extra 16 gb.

The blackberry curve is half the price of an iphone.

There are plenty of third party apps that allow for video chat over 3G on the iPhone. It's just the first party, built in app that has that restriction. Google found a nice way around that restriction by not bothering to include a first party video chat app.
