my buddy Jerry Richardson (no relation) from NC State just got the final exemption into the Wyndham Championship this week. He made the cut last year, so he's feeling pretty good right now. root for the Pack this week in the PGA!

terry sanford in fayetteville...webb played at broughton...we had a few regional tournaments vs. them - i only played w/ him once.

I never played against him directly, he was usually the medalist, and I was in the 5/6 pairings when I was at Sanderson. We sucked.

^haha...yeah he was always good...when i played w/ him we were both freshmen and it was the state regional tournament @ keith hills. he was obviously a well known junior amateur at the time. Through 15 holes I think he was 1 under...i was 2 over, so i was hanging in there. he birdied the last 3 holes...i doubled the last hole...68 vs. 76...oh well, lol...at least i have a claim to fame that i was toe to toe with him for a while.

i've never played w/ anyone that was that good of a putter, probably never will again.

Played at River Ridge today...very slow play...was doing very well (for me)...shot a 39 on the front 9 with a double bogie on the 9th par 3 (had to take a phone call the hole before that pissed me off and got me off my game)...on to the back 9....was on track to finish in the mid 70s when we had to call it with four holes to go because of darkness. Why does every golf course in Raleigh stack their tee times so close together

I played at 7 lakes last Friday. It was terrible. 8:30 am tee time and we were all hungover. All four of us teed off and then the guy came down and moved us to the back 9 (rather embarrassing). Worked out much better that way though. We were an hour ahead of everyone so we could get drunk and enjoy ourselves.
