Best Buy corporate didn't let the stores know that they would put them on sale instead of sending them back to HP until 8:30 last night. My husband came home from work (he runs the Geeks here in Greenville) with one.

Well, here in Greenville, they sold out of all of them in the 30 minutes that they were on sale. It's one per customer and they're not restricting employees from purchasing them. You'll be lucky if any of the Best Buys still have them unless a store didn't get the message before they closed.

I finally got my confirmation from HP at about 3am last night for the 2 that I ordered through the EPP site on Friday night around 9:30pm. The charge went through on my cc as well, so I am hoping they show by the end of the week.

They were out of the 16GB so i ended up just getting the 32GB.

I thought it was mostly BS but using Opera definitely made a BIG difference. It looks like Opera actually resends the POST data properly, is my guess.

Fairly easy. You have to install Preware on your computer, http://www.webosbuzz.com/hp-touchpad/633-how-install-preware-onto-hp-touchpad.html (there are steps to do it like current Java, Touchpad connected but not VIA USB, etc)/ Then after that is installed you need to add Preware and Govnah to your Touchpad which can be done by clicking the Globe icon in preware that is after everything is installed. After that just click list everything in Preware and look at Kernels and it's the 3rd one I think and then go to Govnah and change the profile to being the 1.5ghz kernel. You can do the 1.7 but I think you had to add the feed.

the webOS store is severely lacking

developers need to get on it w/ getting Android on this thing ... i dont see any netflix streaming app, but ill try the website

and i heard if you are in developer mode a lot of the homebrew apps are pretty good

I hope there's an Android player, not so much as an Android port. I really like WebOS as a whole (loved it on my Pre back in the day), but miss some of the apps in the Android store. Will be an interesting few weeks to see what XDA can do with it.
