i realize this is not a big deal at all, but it still doesn't make sense to me:

adidas makes good looking shoes, yet the adidas shoes that our guys get look horrible. why? that seems like it benefits no one.

Painter had a solid game and howell was solid other than that WTF moment at the beginning. We've got a LOT of post depth having 4 relatively established big men and then De Thaey and Harris look like they can play down low in a pinch. Wasn't De Thaey supposed to be super skinny? Either I'm remembering something wrong or the dude has put on a ton of weight since he committed.

Wood of course was on fire which was great to see. He can singlehandedly keep us in a game when the the rest of the team is playing poorly. Unfortunately, he's got this 2 year running gig of being hot in the first half and ice cold in the 2nd half (particularly in clutch moments). Let's hope this is the year he breaks that.

LoBo had 8 assists yeah but he also had 6 turnovers and got burned repeatedly on defense.

Alex Johnson looked solid but he's a 5th year vs a D3 school so I'll need to see more of him against real competition. It'll be helpful to be able to use him at PG and slide LoBo over to SG against some matchups and use LoBo and CJW more against others.

We should be a pretty damn good rebounding team this year between Howell, CJL, CJW, and Lisa Lobes but that wasn't that evident last night.

Overall, we looked well conditioned already we just need to commit more focus to defense.
