apparently it's all bogus and now there is a huge twitter war between Shockey and Amani Toomer. basically Toomer called him a bad teammate and Shockey called him lazy and the reason he broke his leg that one season. it went back and forth before Shockey brought up Toomer's wife divorcing him and Toomer urinating on her clothes for revenge.3/15/2012 2:18:43 PM |

Best case is we find a take for Williams contract (LOL). Realistic case is we trade Stewart for a first or second. No way we go into the season with Tolbert and both those guys on the roster. 3/19/2012 11:32:41 AM |

I doubt it, we already got Richie Brock and our offense doesn't utilize the fullback that often. Unless we're planning to run some Georgia Tech shit, one of these guys has to go. 3/19/2012 11:50:32 AM |

Wasn't Brockel a FA also?
Anyway, in 2006 the Chargers had LT (MVP season), Michael Turner, Sproles, and Lorenzo Neal in the backfield. 3/19/2012 12:03:59 PM |

Atlanta is probably the favorite as of right now on paper, the Saints are also without their linebackers coach for the first 6 or 8 games, can't remember which, and still might have some players who get fines/suspensions 3/21/2012 6:44:33 PM |

Saints are still the fave until someone takes it from them. They still have the best personnel. The Falcons are still number two, but Ryan really has to take "The Leap" this year or people will wonder if he ever will. We're a close 3rd, followed by Tampa. Its going to be a tightly contested division, IMO. We're going to beat up on each other a lot. No 14-2 teams outta the South. 3/21/2012 6:46:32 PM |

Quote : | "When the Panthers released Travelle Wharton to save room under the salary cap, they opened up a starting spot on their offensive line.
It could be filled by Mike Pollak. The team announced Thursday that they have signed the former Colts guard to a one-year contract. Pollak started 41 of 58 games for the Colts since joining the team as a second-round pick in 2008. He was more successful as a pass blocker than a run blocker while with Indianapolis, but not good enough to stop others from taking his job in two of the last three seasons.
The Panthers previously re-signed Geoff Hangartner, who started at right guard last season. Between Hangartner, Pollak and Garry Williams, the Panthers should find their starting guards, unless, of course, the draft brings another option.
The team also announced the signing of linebacker Kenny Onatolu. Onatolu has been a special teams stalwart for the Vikings and is expected to play a similar role with the Panthers next season." |
