i went to the game last night, the student section now is pathetic. Not one single person was heckling the other team. When I was a student people would actually stalk opposing teams pitchers on facebook and get the names of their sisters and heckle them about that. I was extremely disappointed in the students of today.

I agree. I think one of the problems is the majority of students at the game last night were just there for either a residence hall challenge or a SWPC event and most of them lack a very basic knowledge of baseball in general.

Avent is not happy! We got screwed on a double play call. The runner was past the bag before the ball even got to first and they still called him out

Next batter gets walked, so thats a huge call. We would have had 2 on with 1 out

ECU has been in UNC's regionals before, but not ours. I've seen one other regional projection with Pepperdine, Louisville, & Elon in our regional.

Slaughter rule is 10 runs after 7 and is only used in the conference tourney games. We run ruled Clemson 10-0 back in the 08 ACC Tourney.

I think he clashed with the coaches towards the end of the season, but I'm not sure. That was the 06 baseball season and went transferred to Oklahoma State.

According to his bio on Bulls website he was 2nd team Big 12 at OSU. Who knows what he could have been here, as the ACC is, year in and year out, one of the top 2 conferences in college baseball.

He went 2 for 4 last night with an RBI in first game of the year for the Bulls.
