So LaGuerta decides to go to Matthews after ruining his career? Matthews made a promise to Harry that he would keep Dex and Deb safe. What a huge mistake by LaGuerta. I think Matthews saves Dexter's bacon, and it kinda makes me wonder if he hasn't known all along now that I think about it. Also I can't help but wonder if Hannah gets "Rita'd" at the end of the season in a bathtub.

So how do ya'll think the last four episodes will play out? The sub-plots are all set and so far we've got:

this series is getting so ridiculous (not that this episode was the first to indicate that). Dexter is just killing people in public places and then you've got Hannah who is a suspected serial killer that has just been kidnapped and killed the guy and nobody questions that? I get that Deb suppresses any investigation but the detectives at Miami Metro don't look any deeper into that?

The Isaac scene was also weak. Why would homeboy just shoot him once and peace out? This was in the middle of the day and Isaac says that he's a goner so he has Dexter take him out to dump him with his bf and when they get there it's night time? I'm pretty sure he could have been saved but regardless, the coherent conversation while he's bleeding out from the stomach just to say "there's hope for you yet" and just die instantly?

I agree, they're pushing the plot along too quickly which makes the public killings a requirement in order to make a short timeline happen. Not that it makes it more or less believable it's just lazy writing and it's not par for the course with these writers IMO.

I doubt it. It's bordering the Julia Styles girl situation, and even more so the British chick from the second season in a way already but if somebody else kills her it'll add to his Rita complex, so she might last. She's by far my favorite and the hottest one. If she dies it'll likely be at Dexter's hands.

I think Dexter is going to end up killing her. She keeps asking about his dark passenger and if he can control it, and I think it's foreshadowing that she has her own that she can't control. She'll end up killing someone (previews hinted at Deb) and Dexter won't have a choice

It's also mirroring a lot of how Deb was dating ice truck killer and Dexter was telling her that Truck isn't safe to be around. Maybe they'll pin Hannah as being the real bay harbour butcher after she tries to kill Dexter

wow... The phantom case turned out to be totally lame... was expecting that to take hold as a side quest replacement of Issac... NOPE. Its got to be more shit related to Hannah drama. The whole mob story tension was the most interesting thing about this whole season.

Season 7 has sucked ass. I'm only watching it because it's the last one. Both the dialogue and plot have been very weak.

I've thoroughly enjoyed this season, sucks to be you.

When Dexter jumped out in the fire suit, I think the was the scariest moment in the whole series. I don't know why I didn't see it coming, lol.

When Dex gets questioned by Matthews, he should totally pull the "LaGuerta was on my nuts and now she's batshit crazy" card. I think that's his only defense. And when the series started she really was all over his nuts.

I think the season ends with Deb getting Hannah on death row and Hannah poisons herself, after which Deb gets in a car wreck and goes into a coma. Harrison gets kidnapped. The season ends with Dexter alone in the dark.
