i think it could very well have been a demolition job. it wouldn't have to have weeks and weeks of planning, as they weren't terribly worried about damaging surrounding buildings (BECAUSE PLANES ALREADY FLEW INTO THEM).
i mean if they wanted to destroy some sensitive materials rather than have them possibly fall into the wrong hands, it's possible that could happen. 9/12/2012 7:22:52 PM |

Have y'all ever hear concrete break ? If there was an explosion it would be hard to separate the noise from the sound of a 4'x4' concrete column breaking... I'm not saying there was one... I'm just saying over the other noises you would never know.
I just find it wierd that a building designed to be hit by a bigger plane fell when a smaller one hit it. 9/13/2012 9:48:22 AM |

Harmonics are nearly impossible to thwart. But this should have been less severe then the study they did on the building without any exacerbating conditions. And plenty of "earthquake proof buildings" survive many earthquakes. So that's really a one in a thousand fuck up. This is two for two... 9/13/2012 10:05:42 AM |

It's entirely possible that demolition technicians were brought in to do a quick setup to bring down building 7 because it was unstable and deemed a risk to the rescue workers. Although I'm not sure why this would have been hidden from the public. Which is why the NIST explanation is more credible. 9/13/2012 1:33:13 PM |

"I remember getting a call from the, er, fire department commander, telling me that they were not sure they were gonna be able to contain the fire, and I said, 'We've had such terrible loss of life, maybe the smartest thing to do is pull it.' And they made that decision to pull and we watched the building collapse."

Um, it sounds like they decided to pull their firemen out and cease their effort because it was hopeless and/or risky to continue. The subsequent collapse validated their decision.

We have never once heard the term 'pull it' being used to refer to the explosive demolition of a building, and neither has any blast team we've spoken with. The term is used in conventional demolition circles, to describe the specific activity of attaching long cables to a pre-weakened building and maneuvering heavy equipment (excavators, bulldozers etc) to 'pull' the frame of the structure over onto its side for further dismantlement." |

I have a priori determined that WTC7 was, in fact, brought down by Howard Stern, as Fartman, letting loose a hurricane of stench from his ass. Prove me wrong. All dis-confirming evidence I will reject outright and claim is nothing more than propaganda to deceive you all and throw everyone off of the, you know...scent. Fartman WILL use his asspowers for nefarious reasons again. WTC7 was just the beginning.

Really? And your basis for this is? Surely if this is a common demolitions term, you could find some reference to it in the literature, or you could find plenty of people who say it's a common term and is used in same the context as found in the Silverstein quote.. So what's YOUR basis for claiming that it's a common demolitions term? Some random guy? Why is HE more authoritative than the hundreds of other demolitions experts saying otherwise?]9/13/2012 9:13:19 PM |

I'd rather be RIGHT than whatever the fuck you guy are: Ignorant assclowns that suck at making jokes about pizza.
People have been using "pulled" as a slang term to describe a demolished building since as long as I can remember. That's more than 20 years that the term has been around. 9/14/2012 5:39:03 AM |
aaronburro Sup, B 53077 Posts user info edit post |
and your experience with demolition is... I know you can demolish a pizza store, but that's totally different. So, now, the entire demolition industry must be in on the conspiracy, right? Cause they're saying that "pull" has nothing to do with explosives, but PizzaBoy knows and says otherwise, because PizzaBoy has years of demolitions experience, which is why he runs a fucking pizza store 9/14/2012 7:30:04 PM |
