Got a Respectable Moe out of a Mystery Box. Also got a Lemon Tree, so I guess some of those things never really expire.

I wish I'd get something cool from the Mystery Box. I always get a fucking fence or a shrub or something. The best thing I've gotten since I started playing it in August last year is the Lemon Tree. Squeaky Voice Teen has shown up for a few of my friends, but not me. Whatever.

^ exactly the same here. other than the lemon tree, all i've ever gotten has been fences, shrubs, trees and parking spaces.

most of them are limited time/seasonal items. you can still get them though

^^ you don't keep it if you restart. Only restart if you don't get doughnuts or some other premie item. Example, hold power, select homer buddha, if a pot of flowers then restart, if a pile of doughnuts don't.

doing the Homer Buddah glitch procedure is problematic for me on my Droid phone. the damn dialogue window for turning the phone off blocks the window showing whatever it is you received from the Buddah

It looks like everyone should avoid tapping the Squidport entrance when visiting others' towns. There's an intermittent bug that makes the boardwalk section that built but not yet claimed disappear. Looks like they get pretty pricey and start to take a while to build (just saw 8h), so that would suck to lose it.

also if you want to rearrange your boardwalk, just put each piece in your storage box, then take it out and place it wherever...you cant just manually move a piece

It works like roads or pavement

If you have trouble completing the itchy and scratchy quest just store the shop and place it again. I had to do that to complete it.

when you say it works like roads or pavement, do you mean you can just 'delete' the piece of boardwalk and you can place it down again?

Yep, select one and then you can delete adjacent ones as well. Place them down the same way.

You will also notice it in the rearrange screen right below the road/pavement/water icons, only difference is the boardwalk sections have a number there that shows how many you have available to place

They really should make the boardwalk pieces a little faster to get, I am running out of room with all the buildings I have and it looks like garbage. I guess it is just to keep people playing or to use doughnuts so I see the point but still annoying.

i've noticed that everytime the game downloads updates, whether through google play or within the game, my town rating takes a hit. it has happened every time and is very frustrating to say the least. anyone else notice this or have it happen to them?
