Yeah we were a top 5 offense two years ago so its not out of the question but im a bit surprised to see us at 9.5 wins with our schedule. And I certainly didnt expect atlanta to not be good..

Yeah I just took our over and Atlanta under obviously.

Nfc is loaded this year tho. Seattle, GB, SF all look studly again. Washington also though I dont trust Griffin knee. Just surprising that Atlanta wouldn't project to be good.

Afc is looking the same as last year NE and Den at the top and to a lesser extent Hou, Balt, Pitt.

Nfc south projects as a tough div though no and tb both slightly above .500

Will be interesting to see if we undershoot our pythagorean wins badly again this year. If thats the case rivera needs to go.

NE is gonna struggle this year without Welker and Hernandez and Lloyd and Gronk will inevitably break a bone by week 12

and pretty much every sportsbook has the Panthers win total at 7.5

we went 6-10 in rivera (and cam's) first year, 7-9 last year...if we dont go 8-8 this year, which is obviously over 7.5, he deserves to be fired

Yeah but didn't I read that we statistically we had the hardest schedule this year?(Based on road games and playoff teams from last year)

So we could be just as good as last year and still not be a .500 team. Though last year we were about 2-3 plays from having 2 more wins(Bears and Falcons game come to mind).

^^Hopefully we can accumulate some wins in October and November when they matter. Instead of winning a lot of games at the end to make the record look better than it should when we have no pressure.

We went down to training camp today.

Besides it being unbelievably hot and humid, it was a really good time.

Barner showed some flash with the second team as did Lester on defense.

Cam didn't look sharp at all. He especially struggled with the drill where the coach showed weakside pressure and he had to break the pocket and roll to the left and throw. I don't think he completed one of those in at least five reps.

It's obviously early though and camp is for working on shit like that.
