One of the reasons teams tend to make some of those errors against us is our speed/aggressiveness on the base paths. Problem is the games where we can't get people on. I missed the 3-0 loss to Canisus, but was at the UCLA game - one thing I wish we'd done was try and work deeper into the counts just to get some walks and get guys on base.

^ very true. many of A&T's errors were under pressure to make a play at first or after we already reached and were trying to extend to the next base.

Pack won game one of the doubleheader over ND 5-3. Leading game 2 1-0 in bottom of 7. Rodon got the complete game win, giving up 10 hits, one BB, 3 earned runs, on 121 pitches. Jernigan is doing work today. 7 K's through 7 innings.

Yeah, they've been pretty terrible this year and last, but at least they're playing some decent competition this year (South Carolina, Ole Miss, us). They did take 2 of 3 from Boston College, though they're also pretty bad.

^we're 3-9 in the ACC now after getting swept by Maryland, FSU and Miami. This with two Top 5 picks on our team. When people ask you what its like to be a State fan, point to last years basketball team and this years baseball team. Both started at #6 in the Nation, both will be(and were) lucky to make it to the postseason.
