^The way the RB position is devalued right now, there was 0% chance a RB was taken in the first round. Plus there was no clear-cut top RB in this draft(like say when AP was drafted), stinks for guys like Hyde and Mason that would have been 1st round guys a few years ago just based on emphasis on the position.

Probably 2-3 RBs taken in the 2nd round.

No I don't, I read a report yesterday saying he turned down the major tv stations, etc. But when he gets picked with 8 picks to go, magically there's a camera to film his reaction. This guy would be undrafted if he didn't like men. I feel like he used being gay as a crutch to get drafted. Just my opinion, he didn't need to have a full on make out session with his boyfriend on NFL network. He just wants attention for being the "1st" gay player, as if Kerry Rhodes wasn't gay.

He wasn't very fast at the combine, and he's undersized. His co-SEC defensive player of the year honors were probably what got him drafted at all.

I mean... anybody drafted in the last half of the 7th round could easily go undrafted. But if he hadn't been drafted, some team would've brought him in as an undrafted free agent anyway. Not because he is gay, but because most teams probably had them as about 7th round value. A bunch of straight players who didn't get drafted will also get brought in as free agents.

I just happen to think his SEC accolades are what made the Rams use a 7th rounder on him. He's gonna be a special teamer or practice squad player most likely. If there was some huge gay bias, he would be a starter.

Lol, his workputs were bad. Don't try to tell me that him coming out made him a 7th roud pick. So now gay bias caused his late selection, not his weak bench, slow 40 etc.

^Never has a 7th round pick been celebrated in a team room, its pretty obvious why the rams selected him, and it had nothing to do with him being SEC Defensive player of the year.
