Kenny Smith must have majored in AFAM if he thinks a 270 reverse dunk is a 540.

I like the move OKC made getting rid of Perkins finally and landing Kanter and Augustine for Reggie Jackson. Yeah Jackson could become a 20 ppg game but he was never going to be able to control the ball enough in OKC to fulfill that potential.

OKC and Miami with the big wins today.

If Wade could somehow get healthy enough to give them 30 good minutes a game during the playoffs...this team could make a little run.

OKC finally gets rid of Perk, gets an above average big man, and another shooter. Watch out West!

Yeah I just realized how bad the Heat raped Phoenix for Dragic. WTF were the Suns thinking. They didn't even get a starter in return for a guy that was a top 5 PG last season. Also failed to mention in my above post that I like the addition of Singler to OKC too. 40 percent 3 pt shooter who will help off the bench which is OKCs big weakness.

brandon roy, deron wiliams, drose, very promising players who's bodies just kind of fell apart recently

Rose sucks major dick this year anyway Chicago isn't much worse without him. Just gives more shots to their good players. Too bad they're trapped with his albatross contract

^^Haven't watched much NBA this season but watched last night's Cavs game. When I heard Blatt's in-game interview with the sideline reporter, my initial reaction is "is this really an NBA coach?"

OKC has a shot at having back-to-back MVP's

it's a shame they have an awful coach/horrible injury luck

I think Russell is awesome but is the team still not battling for 8th? No mvp has come from team that struggles.

how many MVP's have had to battle what this team has had to battle and still be in the playoff hunt in a conference as strong as the Western is?

Westbrook's macros have been awesome, but the guy is still shooting 43 percent from the field. Give me Curry and his efficiency leading the best team in the league over Westbrook.

From what i heard, the MVP race has come down to steph/harden/lebron

realistically the only one out of these 3 is steph curry. dude is a 3 point wizard putting up monster numbers every game. also if golden state keeps playing the way they are its a finals bid for sure. lebron has a case as usual, but he's equal to but usually lesser than he did in miami.

Playing in an offensive system that doesn't fit will do that to a pg.

Rondo not being able to shoot and now not even being willing to attack the rim is why he's a shadow of his former self. The system the Mavs run isn't a good fit either, but it has more to do with the fact that he shoots 40% from the line and 30% from 3. He used to be a threat to finish on his drives which ket him rack up a ton of assists, now he doesn't even try to drive because he's terrified of going to the line.
