Yeah this is very surprising move. Good for UL to admit shady shit was happening, but they are now punishing the wrong people. Announce that you will forfeit postseason play next year after the tourney is over and give current players a chance to transfer and not impact the current senior guys. After announcing that, then do the truly appropriate thing and fire Pitino.

At least this makes UNC look like assholes with their stall techniques.

Wake will get better under Manning.. BC? Not sure. I couldn't tell you their coaches name for the life of me and have they ever been anything but an OK program in a non-fertile recruiting area. They missed on the four biggest Boston area guys the last decade (Abu, Napier, Oriakhi and Jalen Adams). Maybe when Bill Curley was there... and a year or two under the black guy.

I suspect you're right about VT under Buzz and that I underestimate them.
