Punisher wasn’t their fault (also wasn’t all that great)

Ragnarok was much more enjoyable than I expected.

Only 6 episodes, but definitely was ready for more.

About halfway through Locke and Key. Pretty good, though it's a little more kid-friendly then I was expecting. So far at lease.

Does anyone else get some emails from Netflix in another language? I get some in Thai for some reason. I went to my Viewing Activity and there is nothing suspicious over the last couple years so I don't think I've been "hacked".

looks like it started about 2 weeks ago, and they're actually being sent to an email address that's not linked to my real account

It's aight. Def. left you wanting a few more episodes for some more background.

I read the comics were much less kid friendly.

After reading some of the differences between the comic and the show, starting to think I should read the comics. I liked the show, but sounds like the comics are much more interesting.

^I saw most of the first 2 seasons of You(my wife loved them and had to binge the 2nd season when it came out), and while it is definitely weird, felt like the 2nd season wasn't quite as good as the first. Crazy the story of that show and how it just went from a dead show to Netflix to being huge and brought back for a 2nd season.

Mulaney and the Sack Lunch Bunch is funny and just wildly charming. I can't gauge if it's good for kids, but maybe for kids in the actors' age ranges (10-12)?

Just plowed through all of Mindhunter, loved it all. Huge fan of David Fincher, not sure why I was reluctant to watch. Sucks that season 3 is indefinitely postponed.

^Big Mindhunter fan also. To the people who didn't like the last half of season 2, can I ask why? The son subplot kind of sucked, but that was just a small part of it. Them uncovering one of the most notorious serial killers of all time -- the cocky AF Wayne Williams -- was pretty entertaining.

Anyway, I started watching Dark and am about halfway through season 1. Really good stuff. Question for anyone who watched it: Did you watch it in German with English subtitles? Or did you watch the dubbed-in-English version?

The fact that the Atlanta murders went unsolved in the show which let to the stomach punch of realizing they were also unresolved in real life, prob led to some feelings of the season ending on a dud. That said i enjoyed the journey. I didn't love the son story line but it didn't kill me.

As for Dark I wateche subtitles bc Ringer claimed the acting was good enough you could tell the difference, I didn't watch the other way so I can't be sure.

Watched "Into the Night" this week, had no expectations but actually liked it.

Was weird seeing it dubbed in English but still having subtitles when they spoke Russian/French/Italian, haha.

Only 6 episodes, but hopefully it'll get a 2nd season.

Rust valley restorers is really good. I love those cars.

I don't know if it's a scam or not, but they have these cars up for sale on their website and they are very reasonably priced.

Reality Z was pretty good. Made in Brazil, dubbed in English, and uses some interesting songs to highlight in certain episodes.

Premise of the show is kind of dumb(zombie outbreak while filming a Big Brother style reality show), but I enjoyed it. More importantly, it just highlighted why I haven't enjoyed the last few seasons of The Walking Dead.

^Wow, so I never saw Dead Set, but after a little googling, it is made by the same guy, haha.

Charlie Brooker created and wrote Dead Set, and then Reality Z is directly based on it and Brooker is an Executive Producer.

I might have to try and find Dead Set online to watch, but it sounds like the exact same premise(Big Brother setup, studio building becoming a safe haven, and "fast" zombies). Though reading how the 2 shows play out and end, it seems like those 3 might be the only similarities they share.

Reality Z has much more focus on people not in the house and people trying to get there and making it work once they get there.

I w as semi excited about watching floor is lava...after fast forwarding through 12 minutes of unnecessary filler since they don’t run commercials I watched one family do one room...it was maybe the most annoying TV I’ve watched in years

Floor is Lava is like Wipeout and an Escape Room making a child, but it's not a cute baby, it's more of a "you look like your parents and I don't like your parents" deal.

The crashes are funny, the idea seems fine, but after watching 1 team go through the room, you lose interest. The people hamming it up for the camera makes it pretty hard to watch and the host, while great on car shows, is phoning it in and adds nothing to the show.

Problem is I watched the first episode with my 3 year old and he LOVES the show so now I'm probably stuck watching the rest of the season, haha.

My 7 year old nephew loves it too. I was trying to figure out who the audience for that kinda show is. Same audience as wipeout, I guess...a mindless show you can watch with the whole family?

My kid still loves The Floor is Lava, to the point if I say "The Floor is..." and he yells "LAVA", haha, so despite the show being bad, I enjoy watching it with him.

I decided to start "Dark" and really enjoyed the first season and now I've moved onto the 2nd season. Funny that the "apocalypse" was supposed to happen last week (June 27th, 2020), so can't wait to see how they they stop that, haha.
