My Amazon delivery didn't get here til 445, so i got a bit of a late start, but played for about 5 hours straight with a few of my friends, and had a great time. Only midway through level 6 right now, and didn't touch the dark zone. We did the mission to get the Tech guy (I think that's who it was) on hard, and we were all only level 5-6 with a four man crew, probably should have waited a little longer, that shit was fucking intense. We made it through eventually, but just barely. Looking forward to a lot of hours on this one.

Did one of the medical wing missions where guys were level 9 yesterday while we were all level 6-7 with Wolpfack and captain sawlt. Talk about tough...holy cow. Did eventually end up beating it though after like an hour and a half, lol.

Game is really enjoyable so far though. There is so much shit to do right now. Tons of side missions and encounters

Played a lot today, still enjoying it, except for the fact that I kept getting some kind of server error and got booted from the game probably 15-20 times over the course of the day, that was very annoying, but luckily I could join right back in win my team in the same spot

^The hype comes from being one of the first games advertised for the xbone, people been waiting for it for a long time. I think people like the fact that it has real guns, not futuristic ones, combat mechanics actually work well, can surpress, use cover fire, and flank effectively, and all that leads into it being quite fun.

Picked it up. Didn't play much yet. The cover system is simple enough but will take some getting used to based on how I normally play shooters. That first gun you get reloads every 3 seconds.

Still enjoying it, just a couple nitpicks/things I wish they would patch- if you unlock the clothing vendor in your base, you can't actually see what anything looks like before you buy it, that is dumb. Also if you go into the mod section (not go into a specific gun to modify, but the section that shows all you mods) I don't think it shows which ones you have currently attached, that would be quite helpful when trying to mark things as junk.

Great game but like people have said there are some quality of life changes that would help a lot. Should be an option to transfer all mods to different gun, comparing guns should be without attachments, better material transfer at crafting station, etc.

They also nee to figure out a way for lower level people to play missions with higher levels. Right now it just scales enemies to the highest level which gets frustrating to say the least. Destiny was actually good at this in that there was like a level cap for each activity. So even if you were 10 levels over, you still maxed damage at a certain point.

I dunno. Even in destiny if you were a lower level you would have to get carried.

We beat a level 15 mission with a 14, a 13 and two 12s last night. It was really hard, but it was fun (thanks captain and dave!) I actually like that this game is about teamwork and the fact that you can't beat high levels with a weak teammate.

What are you guys using as your two primary weapons? I typically keep either an assault rifle or SMG as my primary and a sniper rifle as my secondary. I've found the shotgun and LMG to be the least useful thus far at level 14.

I'm level 15, and for one gun I just upgraded from an AUG to a pretty bad ass AK, and the other one I've been using an M1A, I haven't really used any SMGs, I did find one LMG that I ran with for a bit though and was liking it, but cant remember what it was

I only used an LMG from 24-25. I was in this weird damage gap where my best weapon was an M60 and I was knocking out like 4800 critical hits with it. Those yellow bosses were just too powerful so the extra rounds per second I was dropping in the few seconds out of cover was clutch.

But mostly assault rifle + m1a is my goto if I have the appropriately leveled weapons.

I should hit 30 tonight. Leveling really is so cake doing side missions in each area then following it up with story missions when you're a level or two above the required level.

I've also noticed it's SO much faster playing by yourself in missions. Less and weaker enemies. Yeah it's not as fun but there's literally like no point doing level 12 hard missions which take twice as long.

Dark zone is the spot for cooperative play for me.

Rolled some DZ with hey now and my buddy yesterday. Was much fun. So much better with a team. Sure we got jumped a couple times around an extraction, but I think we mostly gave as good as we got. Only thing that really tripped us up was a whole building full of yellow (elite?) enemies.

So far...I think I like this game better than Destiny. Granted, I really need to get to the endgame for a proper comparison, but the combat is a lot more strategic and team-centric than Destiny. As mentioned, there are a lot of little tweaks that would make life easier, but overall this game is really polished right out of the box.

I have two toons right now. My main (22-ish) generally runs a more tanky build with an LMG and a close range (SMG or Shotty). I actually like the LMG. You need to add stability focused mods for the initial kickback problems, but once it gets going fanning the trigger in short bursts wrecks all. Plus the ability to put mobs into suppressed mode more easily makes flanking (and flank prevention) a lot easier.

Almost level 27 now. Medical and Tech wings up to 90%...all i need is the 1,000 point upgrade for those. Pretty close to the same for the Security wing. I have about 4 main missions and 3 areas left to play/clear.
