I must have missed the part where the GOP brought out the identity politics parade to go through the "victim" checklist, pandering for votes.

Illegal immigrants break the law, but are somehow victims? Check
Mike Brown's mom... Her son attacks a cop, but is a victim? Check
Some midget? Check

DNC is nothing but race baiting. Not surprised a Clinton supporter wouldn't see that though.

"Donald Trump is like popping a zit for the GOP. You don't want a zit, but you've kept messing with it and now it's festered and infected.

Now you need to pop it and let all the shit and puss out. The shit and puss are the dumb rednecks and old white people who need to go away.

Hopefully the pore will heal and be back to normal.

We need to clean out the GOP and Trump is doing it for us.

As a registered Republican who hasn't voted R since 2004, I hope the new GOP is more like the Libertarian party. Less gov't, and stay the fuck out of social issues. Jesus didn't write the constitution."

That's a plausible outcome I think.

GOP will be so sensitive to politicians with Trump's racist rhetoric after this, they'll start to shift away from those ideologies. The question is where will the racists go? We may find out how prevalent they really are.

Well we already saw a pretty severe repudiation of the Freedom Caucus in Kansas, although it took Brownback completely tanking the state's economy with textbook Reaganomics before voters decided enough is enough. Could it happen on the national level? Maybe, but I think a lot of would be congressional candidates in deep red districts are looking at Trump's success in the primary and thinking "I could do that!".

I guess you just don't understand how botany and ecology works. If you genetically modify plants to resist pests, these genes could be passed on to other similar plant organisms and impact the food chain. Pollen grains can travel around the world and there can be unintended consequences to introducing artificial genes. We understand invasive species but invasive GMO species are the next big thing. A plant at the base of the foodchain with a set of genes that make it grow like crazy and prevent it from being eaten could wreak havoc. At the very least, the consumer should know if the food they are buying is potentially contributing to this type of thing.

This is fascinating to me because trump has said the least racist things about blacks compared to other groups:
Trump among African-American respondents in the latest national polls:

Marist: 2%
Fox News poll: 1%
NBC/WSJ poll: 1%

I'm wondering if this is just sympathy hate for trump for the racist/prejudiced things he says about Hispanics and Muslims? Anyone have some insight here...

Black people aren't individuals, they are a collective, and are all victims, and all vote democrat, because the media tells them everything is racist, and they pander the best.

i know a lot of black people in nc who are pro hb2 and think "the republicans are trying to let boys use the girls bathroom". Not to say this sort of stupidity only comes from blacks because its definitely an american thing and blacks are american.

They are called religious people (and I assume you meant Democrats). The African Americans who believe that still overwhelmingly vote Democrat though..

If Gary Johnson can't get enough support to be in the debates after this meltdown the libertarian party should just close up shop.

It would be ironic though if Johnson got in the debates and took more votes from Hillary than trump.

Thats not how it works.

5% gets you federal funding. The libertarian party is here to stay especially considering the country is going bankrupt.

remember when bernie bros were arguing that the south shouldn't vote early because the black folk there don't matter in the general election?

so you're saying trump hasn't done that well since the conventions?

wasn't that said in mid-march before trump was the nominee?

is your argument that sanders wouldn't also be beating trump?

kinda weird and sad that you are still trying to make this about sanders

I'm not making a point about sanders. I'm making a point about some of his idiot supporters and one of their many Trump-like "it's rigged" arguments.

kinda weird and sad that you are still trying to make this about sanders

And qualify it however you want. The fact is the south can matter in the national election.

When you take into account polls and models it is 78/22 in favor of Clinton.

you imply that SC and GA don't flip anything (a tacit endorsement of that bullshit "south doesn't matter" excuse from said bernie bros). fact is, even CA and FL wouldn't flip the election if the models were correct this morning (what colored the map in my post above). that's the point of my shitpost.

you so badly need to be smart, yet you keep being dumb. or, at best, willfully ignorant.

Not even close. Trump needs those, plus NC, plus probably 4 of FL, PA, VA, Ohio, and Arizona (which Hillary leads all of)

Right now 538's now-cast has Trump winning SC (barely, 50.2% chance) but Clinton still winning 383 to 155 in the electoral college.

Did anyone ever seriously think Trump had any chance to win this thing? I mean Hillary Clinton is pretty much the worst but there was no chance in hell she was going to lose to Trump. This is why anyone with any clue inside the GOP was trying whatever they could to get anyone else up there. After 8 years of Obama there was almost no way they could screw this up yet somehow still managed to. I'm not gonna lie when you break it all down I just feel sad for this country realizing just how many idiots there are out there that we ended up with these two running for President. What was once an honorable respected position has devolved into a reality tv shitshow that has the rest of world rightfully mocking us.

Trying to consolidate the kdogg vote.

Jesus, he may have the best words but when placed in combinations they often come up as jumbled nonsense. I think it was pretty obvious he said but his general inability to speak coherently probably gives him enough leverage to say he meant something else.
