I didn't watch the game and Im glad I didnt...

I take it basically it looked like Gottfried said ok you're the 5 best go win for me.

They just have no real ability to be a consistent team till so late in the year especially on the road.

i'm not saying Vandy is better than Abu. i'm making a comment about his improvement year of year. of course we don't need more Vandenbergs on the team. but his improvement was impressive and he was a decent contributor his senior year. my point in saying that was, see how he (and mostly Howell was my comment) improved from his freshman year to his senior year. the larger point was, Howell is our only big man who has developed a semblance of a post game under Gott.

Abu is a "baller" in the sense that he is athletic and dunks it really fucking hard. he has no post moves, and is dead set on jacking up 18 footers. we need him to be better. we need him to dominate a weaker interior team like BC. instead we pussy footed around in the paint and with the exception of one or two post up plays from Anya and Abu, we didn't assert ourselves inside...and that should be an easy thing to do against a team like BC who has very little post presence.

So? If he hasn't lost his players, what do you call what they are doing when they are on the floor. The just don't seem interested in the game or playing organized basketball.
