Do I start Howard or Cohen tonight?

^ I have Howard and am starting him out of necessity, but if I had both, I think I'd start Cohen. With Aaron Rodgers on offense and a serviceable run D, I think the Packers will get up by a touchdown or 2 in which case the Bears will be forced to pass to try to keep up. That would obviously favor Cohen over Howard.

I don't think the Packers offense will score as easily as you think. Their offensive line is in shambles. They have put 2 OTs on IR in the last week and both starters are also injured (both listed as doubtful for tonight's game). They might only be playing the bears, but that's a recipe for disaster.

Regardless, I'd start Cohen. His floor is higher in a ppr league than Howard, especially considering Howard has been playing hurt and could go out at any time.

Right now I have Chris Carson vs Ind but I am thinking about putting him at RB over Lamar Miller vs Tenn.

Powell. Panthers passing game has been grosser than the Patriots defense. Britt is such a boom or bust guy and the Cincy defense isn't terrible at defending WRs. Forte is out so that gives Powell more touches, although against a good defense.

His Cooks, Miller, Jones Jr. for my E. Sanders, Ertz, White? PPR

I'm not big on dealing a top 3 TE in Ertz & I have no interest in Jones Jr. He does have an extra QB (Stafford) I could use in place of Mariota if he is out. His 3rd WR is Jones, so I could possibly package 2 of mine. Any suggestions at a counter offer?

shitty qb situation if mariota is injured and can't go this week. my other qb is kirk cousins (bye). so should i pick up goff (vs SEA) or go with maybe eli (vs LAC)? obviously goff has been better but it's SEA...so that concerns me. hopefully mariota is a go and it's nothing to worry about.

Yeah I had to pick up Dalton this week just in case (I don't keep a backup QB). But it sounds like Mariota will play, to me anyway.

Yeah Watson isn't available. The reports sound optimistic for Mariota but then them signing Weedon makes me worry some about Mariota's status.

Somebody in my league dropped Ameer Abdullah to waivers for Andre Ellington. I was 10th in the waiver order, put in for Abdullah and got him. Still scratching my head on the guy dropping him for Ellington. And I guess the rest of the league just wasn't paying attention...dah well, I'll take all of the help I can get

Is it PPR? If so, I don't think there's much difference in the value of Ellington and Abdullah. Johnson and Williams have been crap and Ellington is getting a lions share of RB touches for Arizona. He'll rack up receptions. Abdullah has been solid on the ground, but the Lions are never going to be a run heavy team and Riddick gets most of the passing work. Both are walking injuries waiting to happen, so that basically cancels each other out.

Abdullah is still a good waiver pickup though, just don't think it's outrageous to drop him for Ellington.

^ It is a ppr and you might be right, but Abdullah got 23 touches last week including 3 receptions. Compared to 8 touches including 4 receptions for Riddick and it looks like they want Abdullah to be the guy over there. Like you said, his bones are made of glass, so that likely won't last, but a guy can hope, haha.

My dealing worked out this week - traded Melvin Gordon for Dak (we play a 2-QB league and I still have Stafford and Wentz and picked up Luck from waivers) after Cook went down.

Of course now I have Clay and OBJ out indefinitely and Devante Parker day-to-day?

Gordon, Wentz, Hopkins were my saviors this week if I can get through tomorrow unscathed.

- Looking back the Luck pick-up may not prove useful for Stafford week 7 bye after all. Seemed a great plan earlier this week...

The TE spot is bare this year and you'd have two top TEs you could pocket or save for later to trade.

Looking to drop Rob Kelley for a RB handcuff with upside. Already have Marlon Mack on my bench so that leaves Matt Breida and Elijah McGuire. Anyone have insights/opinions on who is a better bet between those 2? Not necessarily looking for points this week...moreso someone who has potential to overtake my every week starters at RB/Flex (Howard, McCaffery, Kamara).

Unrelated but ended up picking up Breida on waivers this morning and some unverified reports are coming out that the 49ers are making and receiving calls about the trade value of Hyde. Breida may be worth a bench stash for others if you have the room.

I drafted Mariota hoping for an easy set and forget QB for the year. nope. picked up and played Dalton Week 5 after MM got injured, then dropped Dalton and played Siemian Week 6. played MM this past week hoping he was over the hammy thing. not sure how much I can trust MM going forward - he looked like dog shit Week 7.

basically i'm struggling at QB and there's not much hope in the pool.

had a guy offer me Tyrod. he proposed me giving Latavius Murray and PHI D, so I'm not giving up much there. I only picked up PHI yesterday and was going to play them in the SF matchup next week. I might be selling high on Murray, who has also looked pretty bad.

only thing is, Tyrod ain't all that great either. Week 8 Siemian plays KC, who have made some QBs look incredible this year, but Siemian might also be on a short leash from here out.

does this trade look terrible? my best FA options are McCown, Brissett, Manning, and only goes down from there.

^^^Going through the same problem with Mariota. I'd probably take Tyrod for now, with Eli being on a bye.. He's the only other one who's an option. I would keep Mariota on the roster though, since he plays Indy and San Fran later and might snap out of it.
