Most of the big 6 are dealing with massive losses and just lost an expected source of revenue. City and Chelsea will likely spend through the pain since there backers don't care about losses, but Liverpool and United might be more gunshy for the huge moves, not to mention arsenal and Spurs that are hurting without UCL yet again.
Time will tell I guess but I'm worried and Chelsea and city spending big while Liverpool and United (well I'm not worried about them) fall behind. 6/1/2021 3:25:58 PM |

You could be right but Liverpool already improved their defense.
The problem Chelsea and City have is they have some players they need/want to offload but because the market is cash strapped they won't get near the value for those players so it really is a weird situation. PSG, City, and Chelsea seem to be only squads that want to take losses and spend. But to bring players in you have to offload.
Chelsea want a striker. I think Kane probably stays put especially if Poch crawls back to Spurs. Haaland doesn't want to come to Chelsea plus his valuation is really high. So its either spend way to much for Lukaku or Lewandowski. I would personally rather keep Tammy and see if he can get into the squad more next season with a proper offseason. 6/2/2021 8:28:02 AM |
