Support for “socialism” (using the term loosely) shot through the roof in mid-2008 when the unemployment rate started rising above 8%. It was a major factor in giving us Obama. Depending on when and how severe the MAGA recession hits, AOC’s socialism could be nicely positioned.

Shes extremely centrist and populist policy-wise

Her voice is shrill is her biggest problem but I think when Americans hear her policy they’ll like her. Yeah Fox News has been tearing her down like they do Hillary because she’s the heir apparent now. But I don’t think she’ll register as unpopular if she can get her message out.

Hillary got more votes than trump, Kamala kept trump under 50%, Obama had a clear majority. The demographics work against her but it’s not a death knell.
