Why not? That probably started Palmer’s investigation against Logan. Palmer let Logan know that someone in his administration last year tried to kill Jack but then he realized Logan was turning his back on it, and Palmer called him out. This is probably why Palmer and Evelyn hooked up to collect info against the president.

Alright but who thinks he actually is THE criminal mastermind? When talking to Henderson he seemed to be talking as in he had authority over him, but he didnt really know what to do. It could still just be Henderson realizing how weak the president actually is and convincing him that whatever they are doing is the patriotic thing to do.

yeah because he would have conned everyone into believing that he couldn’t have mastermind this but instead was coerced. Even convincing the very people who believe they were following a patriotic duty more so than the orders of the president. He can still be the mastermind while playing coy.

^ because as the president he had to justify his role publically. CTU isn't involved with his other plans, so he still has to "assume" the role and let Walt, Henderson and the others carry out what ever the original plot is.

The one thing I don't understand is why Vladimir Bierko, is still connected to Henderson and the President if his original task was unleash the nerve gas on Russia. Wasn't Nathanson the one who had partnered with Walt and therefore that partnership was terminated by Bierko? I guess they still have some strings to tie together.

so i guess the rest of the season will be about jack, audrey, and chloe saving the world, not being able to trust anyone, having to find new ways to do what they need to get done, doublecross, another mole, and then with about 4 hours left, a savior or something like that will come in and help jack...or something. one last surprise, and then the climactic arc will pass and we will head for resolution.

i want bill back, maybe chase. perhaps kim will make another appearance? she has to. maybe that is how they get jack to do what they want, or something. and kim's boyfriend i am sure is evil to some degree
