You simply have no idea about Ron Paul if you keep claiming it has anything close to having to do with pot.

You don't have enough attention to sit through one of his lectures.

If you want to prove me wrong, here is the Wisconsin lecture.

sorry, i missed that - looks interesting

It's like an Asia / brazil / south africa version of the EU?

I'd say it's something to watch, but I wouldn't say we've already lost the reserve currency unless you mean that it's inevitable which could be true. Another possibility is that the global dollar economy might become one of a few independent global economies. I'm not an economist though.

For the uninitiated, Nye County is one of the prime spots for UFO watchers, modern day gold prospectors, and people who want to escape from the government that they believe watches them through Washington's eyes in the $1 bill.

It's isolated, but not so much that it isn't close enough to Area 51 for us to keep an eye out for suspicious activity.

Regardless, I think Art Bell, UFO watcher supreme, moved to the Philippines. Maybe GeniusXBoy can soon?

Results by county. Orange indicates a county won by Romney, gold by Paul, purple by Gingrich.

According to "official results" ronmey won the entire state except one for gingrich and one for paul.
The only caucus to have a redo because of proven fraud went to ron paul. Not just a few, but ALL the delegates.

Mitt Romney 16,486 50.02% 14 14 14
Newt Gingrich 6,956 21.10% 6 6 6
Ron Paul 6,175 18.73% 5 5 5
Rick Santorum 3,277 9.94% 3 3 3
No Vote 67 0.20% 0 0 0

While this looks like small win to people in denial of the Ron Paul movement and the election fraud, the extrapolated results have big implications.

Well yeah, since according to Ron Paul fans, every county that he's lost was fraudulent. If you extrapolate that one desolate wasteland in Nevada then he should be in the lead with 100% of the delegates nationwide.

First, It's impossible to write a video into words.

Second, stop being lazy and watch the video.

Third, if you comment without watching the video, the best you can do is guess, not know, anything I'm arguing about.

Fourth, I can't make you watch the video but if I post the video and you respond to it, then I will assume you have watched it.

Fifth, if you don't care about anything I post in this thread, you can:
(a) make a thread that matters to you
(b) go to another thread that matters to you
(c) go to a different forum
(d) go to a different site altogether
(e) go outside and get some fresh air.

Sixth, Ron Paul 2012!

You have to be trolling. Voter fraud has been known to tip an election by a few hundred or thousand votes (see: Chicago).

To do it on a national scale would take a conspiracy the size of the one that CERTAINLY carried out 9/11.

What did you get your degree in to believe that you tube videos of a march is OBVIOUS evidence of a candidate on the verge of winning it all? They have marches against the war in DC all the time with that many people led by actual communist parties, and look how well they've done.

Also, since people keep posting from it, New American is a publication of the John Birch Society, just so everyone knows.

Oh I see where the problem is...

Due to the shear size of the conspiracy, it must not be real and therefore you won't even entertain the idea that a whole election could be rigged and the official media coverage could be censored and controlled in its favor by the same force.

Remember when I told you guys that Virgin Island's popular vote was won by Ron Paul on March 10th?

Do you find it weird that FOX hasn't posted the popular vote numbers for Virgin Island either?

which is void of the Virgin Island results altogether except to say Romney won them?

Do you find it weird that FOX doesn't post Ron Paul's delegate count on their official page?
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/elections/2012-primary-calendar

Do you find it weird that Ron Paul is the most liked person on FOX's own website?

Do you find it weird that Ron Paul just broke another crowd record today?

Oh no! Another Youtube video:

This is worth watching though! This is absolute proof that Americans are gullible by the masses in politics. Even though they know it's fake, they participate in it as if it were real.

Even though the battles are rigged and the winners already decided, the audience is awestruck and hypnotized by the grand luster of the candidates. The "show" brings in billions of dollars and it's completely rigged. From the smallest no-name battles to the final showdowns, the whole thing is fake and there is evidence EVERYWHERE of its fakeness. But people still choose to believe.

Here is an instructional video how you fool Americans into thinking politics are real:

Has anyone ever actually met a Santorum supporter? I saw a Santorum bumper sticker the other day when driving with friends, and we were all in shock.

It's simply a fact that the GOP establishment is very resistant to Ron Paul's message, and many county GOP chairs have actively tried to prevent Ron Paul supporters from having a voice in the process. And, yes, we've heard it all before:

"Welp, this is just the free market at work! Obviously, the free market doesn't support Ron Paul LOL!"

What isn't talked about as much is that the Democratic party is just as opposed to everything Ron Paul is saying. Anti-war Democrats weren't anti-war or anti corporate welfare, they were anti-Bush. Just like anti-mandate Republicans are usually not actually anti-mandate, they're just anti-Obama. It's politics, tribalism, or whatever you want to call it.

In 20 years, these legions of Ron Paul supporters are not going to have "grown out of it". Once you accept that foreign policy has consequences, cheap money results in perverse incentives, and debt-fueled economies are not sustainable, you don't go back. These people are going to become representatives and very influential political figures.

This doesn't end in 2012. This doesn't end in our lifetimes. Beating back the state is going to be an ongoing battle. Educating people that have been brainwashed and indoctrinated is going to take time. The state has a very effective propaganda machine; it makes it illegal for you to not receive what they call "education". People have been convinced to passionately argue in support of their own subjugation. Until they are made to understand that they are not part of the privileged class - that "we the people" does not include them, it only includes an elite, politically well-connected class - they will continue to do so.

People said this about the pseudo-Marxist campus revolutionaries and hippies of the 1960s. Then they all became yuppies and Reagan voters.

Are we just accepting that you think you're beyond that sort of evolution because you're smarter or cooler or whatever?

Being in a movement is cool, but eventually you have to sell out to get a seat at the table.

If you're stuck in the bubble, hanging around only with internet libertarians your age and reading TWW and Ron Paul Forums and a couple Reddit groups, you'd think you're right. I used to post in SomethingAwful D&D, and posting there, you'd think Marxism was still relevant worldwide as a governing ideology.

I mean, I guess you can stay in the bubble, but the wider world will always disappoint you if you do.

And for the record, I think a more libertarian strain in both parties on social issues is necessary in an age of increasing surveillance and the abuse of technology. I know you think people are retarded for believing that but not also buying into your absolutism on economics, but if you could stick to a more general classical view that's more Hayek than Rothbard (lol), and if you could keep the hysterics about the evils of Keyens to a minimum (really, most economists probably pull from both Hayek and Keynes), then I'd probably be on for that. Anarchy is cool until you're living it.

Sometimes I wonder what you people who see yourselves as revolutionaries imagine your preferred world to look like. Like, more specifically than "more freedom" or "constitutionalism." If that's all, why the obsession with anarcho-capitalist theorists? Enlighten us.

Now hit us with a self-righteous "IM NOT SELLING OUT AND YOUR DAYS ARE NUMBERED!" rant.

You just don't get it Hoops. We are the American party.

I know you don't know what an American is because you've been corrupted by the media and how things are being run in our government currently to understand.

Peace.
Love.
Respect.
Truth.
Liberty.
Freedom.
Pursuit of Happiness.
Justice for all.
Constitution.

American.

I don't know why you are such an enemy to these causes.
I don't know why you try so hard to fight against it.

What is your goal for fighting freedom, liberty, and the constitution?

No. There will be (and already are) splintered factions from the greater "libertarian" movement. As a whole, though, the movement is a response to decades of accumulated damage to the economy, along with ramped up efforts to remove civil liberties in the U.S. It's also a rejection of decades of failed foreign policy.

Quote :
"Being in a movement is cool, but eventually you have to sell out to get a seat at the table. "

Yes. You could argue that Rand Paul, for instance, has sold out. I see this as a strategic move and beneficial to the cause.

Civil liberties are great, but I'd just as much like for the government to stop shitting on the economy.

Anarcho-capitalism is just the theorized end game. It's an ideal society based purely on voluntary transactions. The basis of anarcho-capitalism is respect for property rights. That's why the "MOVE TO SOMALIA LOL" line is a crock of shit. Anarchy without property isn't anarcho-capitalism, it's just a lack of a state that will quickly get swallowed up by a new state or descend into chaos. No one in their right mind is suggesting that we just get rid of government in revolutionary fashion. The immediate goal is to simplify government so that it only protects property rights, instead of starting wars, social engineering, and providing services.

Ultimately the goal is to change minds about what the role of government should be. The government is what it is because people want free shit, they want to see drug users go to jail, and they want to see us kill Muslims. People will understand that the long-term cost of big government is much higher than the short-term benefits.

I'd ask "who or what defends property rights in a stateless system?" but I think I know the answer. Does it really surprise you that people aren't that receptive to something that may lead to a sort of clan system?
