Good thing the Saints defense -- esp Browner -- is garbage. Their offense is still very much legit.

Panthers have proven they can win ugly games, win shoot-out games, and win WTF games.

Also, Cotchery is so damn clutch.

D Williams said in his post game interview that he was thankful he could be in a loaded backfield for the Panthers so he could recover from injuries and get better... Something to that effect. I took it as a jab at Carolina.

Clinch home playoff game with a win next week, though not sure how tiebreakers work with GB/Minn if they don't.


we already have a home game scheduled. Either January 9/10 or January 19/20. Think what you meant to say is win one more and we are definitely the 2 seed since we can't be the 4, 5, or 6 and worst we can do now is tie for the 3 seed with MINN or GB.

Panthers play:
Falcons, Giants, Falcons, Buccs

Cardinals play:

I don't see the Cardinals winning out nor do I see the Panthers losing 2.

Russell is arguably having a better year than Cam

Cam has a few more TDs, but RW has a higher rating, passing yards, yards per rush, yards per pass, completion percentage, and fewer int's, and rushing yards are about the same

The difference is, you absolutely have to take into account team records with MVP.

I mean P-Riv is going to put up some great numbers, but his team is awful.

Cam's biggest feather in his cap right now is that we're undefeated, because it trumps most of the stats. If we end the season with 2 losses, Cam won't finish top 2 in the voting. Realistically, if we lose 1 more game and Arizona wins out, Palmer will win the MVP.

Stats are important, but Cam's 4th quarter numbers are great. Wilson's team has blown 4 or 5 4th quarter leads, so that brings down his case for MVP.

Ummm, RW and Cam played each other. In a tight game, Cam produced two 80 yard TD drives late in the 4th quarter while Russell looked like absolute dog shit. No contest.

The only thing about that Rich Eisen rant I want to ask him, is if he is REALLY in love with this Receiving Corps. I just can't imagine what life would be like if Benjamin was playing, but that's the only aspect of this team I can't envision anyone being in love with.

Olsen is great, Cotchery is clutch, and Ted Ginn Jr. is fast. Honestly they've been playing pretty well as a group the last few games, other than poor Theodore's drops. Devin Funchess needs to get more of Philly Brown's snaps, especially in the red zone. Teams still give us man coverage on the backend because of the running threat so it should be easy for these guys to get open, which they've been doing the last few games.
