Any recommendations for a sensitive skin body wash? I am using an Ivory bar right now but I like liquid better. I've been surprised that stores don't seem to have many options without fragrance and whatnot. I'm thinking about trying Dr. Bronner's baby mild castile soap.

i would say plain old white dove, but i recently found out their parent company (presumably, and not dove themselves) still do animal testing. but barring that, something with olive oil, like the kiss my face bodywash. dr. bronner's is pretty drying.

I cannot use Ivory. I use Dove with no problems. Other soaps really drive my skin crazy.

Is this a good spot to ask a decorating question?

I've got a sliding glass door that currently has those vertical blinds installed, and they need to be replaced. They look something like this:


Should I replace them with something similar, or would you all lean towards a curtain or something else? If you could link to any possibilities that would help.

There's not really much to match with atm, current furniture and colors (or lack thereof) are neutral.

i'm going to suggest keeping something like you already have since you have dogs...

they like to look out of glass and will destroy a curtain...it'll be filthy in no time

I got my new swimsuits from Belk, they had a good selection and lots of sales today. I also got my first pair of Rainbows this weekend. They are very cute and I hope they are as comfortable and long lasting as people say they are.

I have a question about my rainbows before I soak them and start breaking them in. My foot barely fits in them, but the next size up is way too big. Have I picked the right size or should I return them and get the size up?

It's a tight squeeze at first but it'll form to your foot. Every time I buy a new pair I question myself as to whether I got the right size because of the tightness.

I'm not sure what you mean by cover-up--like for walking around or for actually swimming in? And does the cover-up need to coordinate with existing swimsuits?

Anyway, I think the only thing Land's End makes money on now is swimsuits, and they don't mess around. The color selection isn't quite what I'd like, and they don't have ultra skimpy bikinis, but they've got pretty much everything else covered. I think people think of them as matronly, but their suits just look and feel better.

Something to wear over the swimsuit, but not swim in. Like to wear in the golf cart on the way to the beach, or on the walk to our community pool, or to wear while I wrestle four and five year olds in to their suits and slather on their sunscreen and wait for the recommended 20 or so minutes before we swim. I prefer sheer-ish with sleeves and something that comes down to appropriate skirt length. I would also wear it when the family I work for has neighbors over for swimming and then a cook out, so something fairly modest. Coordinating not necessary. I guess I would prefer a solid color. I have a pretty sarong for being cute and stuff.

I think I might just use a couple of my old spring dresses that are too big now.
